The institutions have arrived on Polygon CDK. For the first time, a financial institution-focused L2 is being built, settling to Ethereum.
Introducing Libre, institutional web3 infrastructure for the distribution of alternative asset funds, launched by WebN and @LaserDigital_.
Built with Polygon CDK, the Libre chain will focus on issuance and distribution of tokenized assets, leveraging the security of Ethereum. The platform will unlock broader distribution capabilities for asset managers and wealth advisors and enable unparalleled access to alternative investment funds for a broader pool of investors.
The web3 infrastructure is set to go live in Q1 2024 with Brevan Howard and Hamilton Lane to be the first issuers to strategically partner with Libre. The team is also working on enabling services like collateralised lending and automated rebalancing of separately managed accounts.

@TrustlessTooth no matter what, polygon has always been relevant and that's exactly why it will never die
shoutout to all the $MATIC believers and haters alike
@100y_eth @0xPolygonLabs zkWASM with celestia, RWAs, validium chains... Polygon is always miles ahead than the rest with its vision for the future. Always
Matic: 1 to 1 value accrual
-> just POS, just one purpose
Pol: multi dimensional/multi purpose value accrual
-> all CDK stack chains, many purposes
@3PointAsset There's a lot more I'd like to add to this post but then it wouldn't be a post anymore, it would become a thread because there's so much to talk about when it comes to polygon. It's literally everywhere doing everything
Parallelization: Sei +Polygon
Gaming: IMX + Polygon
L2 stacks: OP +Polygon
Restaking: Eigen + Polygon
Big CEX aligned: Polygon + OP
Can only think of 1 chain thats the home of gaming, has parallelization on an L2 CDK, aligned with major CEX (OKX), and will have native restaking
@KAIZ3NS@SizeChad why would polygon need to rebrand? its not like they just pulled the most embarrassing stunt any scaling solution could pull (arb not being able to scale and fees spiking worse than ethereum's)
@_khanhamzah @SizeChad LMFAOOOOOOOOOOOO they must've forgot how fees on arb went 5x over eth fees from processing a measly couple of million inscriptions and their chain had to rest for a couple hours
