🎉 Happy 3 year anniversary to @MSKBiostats !
👏 Thank you to our Social Media Committee members for managing the account and to our followers for another great year!
Thank you to @SuccessCharters for hosting our 2nd-ever in-person “Biostats Day” at the Success Academy Harlem High School campus!! We had a great time showcasing the field of Biostatistics to a great group of engaged & inquisitive scholars.
First **in-person** Biostats Day is in the books 🎉 Thank you @BaruchSTEP for the opportunity to showcase the field of #biostatistics to your impressive #highschool scholars this past weekend! #STEMeducation
I am delighted to share that I recently joined @MSKBiostats@MSKCancerCenter as a Principal Biostatistician! I am so excited to be starting my career in my favorite city with this absolutely terrific group!
After nearly 5 years in graduate school, today I successfully defended my dissertation in Biostatistics. Thank you so much to everyone who helped me get here. Feeling so incredibly grateful today!!
My first ever research paper was published in Statistics in Medicine today. What a wonderful way to start the day!

Today was a good day. My dad, a sudden cardiac arrest survivor with cardiomyopathy, received his first dose of the #COVIDVaccine!!!! Thanks @HartfordHealthC for making the process so safe and efficient!
Proud to call Erin Hannon one of my best friends! She did an amazing job sharing her thoughts on the importance of vaccinations for school children. Hooray for dedication to #publichealth!!!
Erin Hannon is a testament to the amazing education available at @UConn. Grateful that she pulled an all nighter to share her insights with the Public Health Committee.

Good vaccine news makes me happy! My 80-year-old grandmother, who is battling CMML Leukemia, just received her second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine in Ohio. Hard to describe everything my family is feeling right now, but gratitude and relief certainly come to mind!
So today & everyday, for our healthcare heroes, for those with heart conditions who may face higher risks of complications from COVID-19, and really for everyone around you: please wear a mask!
Today marks 2 years since my dad went into cardiac arrest at a family dinner and was saved by CPR and an AED. He woke up 2 days later with no cognitive impairments. Now he works for @American_Heart. Words can’t describe how grateful I am every single day. #CPRSavesLives
Congratulations to every #PennGrad today! And special congrats to the world’s newest veterinarian, Dr. Rhiannon Ross, who has been my dear friend for 12 years and my roommate for the last 3. I am SO proud of you today and always @RhiLeighStoked! @PennVet#ClassOf2020
THANK YOU @iHeartDogscom! Just received my order and now have coffee to enjoy while I work from home! This group is amazing. Every purchase you make helps feed shelter animals. This is SO important right now as they help shelters that have been overwhelmed due to COVID-19.
They’re also currently selling these lovely bracelets. Each purchase provides a meal to a healthcare worker on the front lines of COVID-19! https://t.co/k1wVHGAgyA
I wanted to name a few of these groups that I love and support, but there are SO many amazing organizations out there. Could be worthwhile to find ones in your area and learn about the ways you can contribute. Thought it couldn’t hurt to spread a little love right now. ❤️
During my time at home I’ve been trying to think of how I can help others during this pandemic. There are SO many organizations out there helping people get food and medicine, assisting overwhelmed animal shelters, and providing support to first responders and healthcare workers.
