What do we know of Egdon Resources? Just another oil and gas company obsessed with capital 'growth' at the expense of the environment. 👏Resubmitting plans for 'exploratory' works at North Kelsey in Lincolnshire. Raise objections: https://t.co/Hy0TyauQ4c #frackoff#frackfree
@BBCRadioLincs@lincolncouncil No one wants to see homeless people criminalised. Would the cost of arrest and prosecution be higher than long term mental health treatment, or a period in rehab; besides some people don't want to be fixed, and thats their freedom of choice. Let them have that.
@electriclinc So did you guys switch to biodegradable straws then?Last time you tweeted us you guys said you weren't serving straws as standard in your drinks. Please let us know if you switched to biodegradable, that would be awesome #strawfreelincoln#plasticpollution#thefinalstraw
We have some fantastic businesses in Lincoln; Curry Jacks are in Central Market, they've signed our pledge, and in addition all of their food packaging is from biodegradable sources!! @curryjackscaf#strawfreelincoln#itsalincolnthing#plasticfree
When people ask how plastic enters our natural world and isn't recycled or sent to the waste disposal site, this is basically it; and this same process occurs on the ships we load to take our European waste to other parts of the world. #nobrainer#plasticpollution https://t.co/CTxtywl3dg
Hi @Newbery_Rec your lorry going over the Taw bridge at 1.15pm today WX53SRO had all the litter blowing into the sea from an unsecured load.
Please can you ensure your best practice at all times. You’re based in a beautiful location in Devon
Plesse work to not let this happen 😔
@SayNotoStraws When describing how winds contribute to litter entering the waterways, I feel I need to use this video to illustrate why and how. #plasticpollution
Our #strawfreelincoln campaign has a wordpress where if you happen to be business in #Lincoln thats still in the dark ages, and fancy doing your bit to end #plasticpollution then you can sign up here; https://t.co/amSBRCUwnc
@Pret @Cliveschlee You could start @Pret by getting rid of the tonnes of plastic cutlery in your establishments. Never heard of wooden cutlery? How's your bonus? Fat, I bet, at the expense of the environment 👍 High five yourself Clive.
@HmInsanekitten@joelmurray In the grand scheme of things, making a durable sign so that people take note does far better for the environment than not mentioning anything. Spreading the word most likely outweighs this 'lamination crime'. -Its one sign, and they aren't perfect, but they are trying.
