@robertqberry I'm taking a look. The district data for our alternative education students just doesn't really give us much meaningful information. This sounds like a useful alternative.
@meredith4math@mtholyoke@pwagnerivy @martagarcia0901 I've been thinking a lot about these ideas as I prepare to go back to the classroom next year to work with middle school students at one of our alternative schools :) Many thanks for sharing!
Finally had some time to look at my Ss math from this week. Gosh, I'm feeling so full.
I just LOVE seeing their continued thinking. Let us remember in this time that kids are resilient and eager to learn and express ideas. Can't wait to continue the conjecture convo this week!
This is so very exciting! 100 days of opportunities to learn more about math teaching and learning from NCTM wonderful colleagues across the country and in Canada :) What a gift! @NCTM@BostonMath@BostonSchools
Pretty amazing stories of teachers in NYC working together with their students to keep learning going: Teachers’ Herculean Task: Moving 1.1 Million Children to Online School https://t.co/4dXiI3jhDx. We have some pretty amazing teachers here in Boston who are doing the same!
For those of you who were hoping to attend, along with those of you who did not have funding to attend, here is another interesting option for participating in all that NCTM offers :)
