To preround or not to preround (in person) for trainees?
I’m in the ‘let patients sleep, chart review preround, and patient centered rounds later’ camp.

a surgical knot that may be used to secure a continuous suture. It is thought to be more secure than a square knot.
We will cover how to do it, what *not* to do, and also a little-known modification that may make it even more secure.

Over 25 years ago, OB/GYN programs were the first to pilot the AAMC’s new “Electronic Residency Application Service.”
But starting next year, OB/GYN will stop using ERAS and begin using a different residency application system.

Them: “Okay, I’ll dial up a Spanish interpreter while we walk over.”
Me: “Oooooh. Can we call for the in-person one instead?”
*silence*
Me: *starts dialing* “They come quick, I promise.”
Them: “No. . . umm. . . it’s fine.”
It did not seem fine.
I saw a med student alone in the cafeteria with no borrowed resident badge & no resident with him. I waved him over & got his dinner. Y’all wth, that was us two blinks ago!! Feed the students!!
