Reminds me of Robert Heinlein who tried submitting a few stories to many magazines only to get rejections.

Then when he got big those magazines asked for stories, so Heinlein sends them his own rejects. The stories he personally hates. But now the magazines have to accept cause they can’t reject a famous Heinlein 😂
