@GeoffRuss3 @eric_r_2 Best roast pork from my own over, best steaks from my BBQ. Roast carrot parsnip potatoes w provincial spices from my oven. Yellow dhal, squash soup, same same. Toasted cummin curried stir fried cauliflower, my Canadian (German) chef. Home cooking is such a win.

@GeoffRuss3 @eric_r_2 Agree. There is one place that does a better curry than home, no where does a better fajita, guacamole, salsa. Goulash no where, but we can't match the Bavarian restaurant spetzle. Home made pierogies are exponentially better.

@GeoffRuss3 A garden home grown garden salad is only a September thing. To get lettuce tomato, carrot, cucumber, that can come together in late summer. I'm eating fresh lettuce and herbs now sure, but tomatoes are months out.

@GeoffRuss3 Past week lots of lettuce - kale variations + a protein. Garden kicked off, need to eat before plants bolt. Stir fried greens +kimchi in scrambled eggs. Ceasar salad + sausages w sauerkraut. Garden parsley/basil/garlic/green onion pesto on pasta w turkey.

@bryan_johnson Maybe sample is too small. Going on a trip, b&b in Paris, small single room hostel in Turkey, dive trip on red sea with double bed... Factor in some other variables and sometimes waking up clutching your fantasy girl might show good data.

@infantrydort Getting the girl to safety is hard. Personal experience- guy carrying drunk girl over his shoulder. it takes work to get her into your shoulder where your girlfriends will take care of her. Absolutely worth it, girl wakes up safe and grateful, high risk to effect this rescue

@infantrydort Hard measure in two ways. Some people will not take the step to physically intervene. Good people, good morals, good intention, waiting for someone to tell them 'this is the time.'
Some people will take a step, but they have a broad disposition re: conflict, rescue, get attention
