We are often seen as "woman" first, which butts up against implicit biases like a motherfudger. Their eyes glaze over lol.

It's hard to watch men get defeated by this, as a woman, because men have access to other men that we just don't have. It feels like a head start. Maybe that's something men have to link up on, strategize together.

@Louie_TheGent @jameelajamil There are a lot of fights to be had that aren't direct confrontation with a rapist. Unlearning and living in opposition to rape culture is more radical than you might think, you start to see men's sense of entitlement to women's bodies everywhere.

@BrandyLJensen I do this with making dinner. I sit and do all the steps in my head and measure ingredients and take inventory and figure out which pans to wash. Then when I'm actually doing it I can turn my brain off
