@larsencc Recap-as-competence (as grok bot calls it, restuffing known facts or closed answers into the next replies when it has no context relation) is the worst one.
@thsottiaux Add a 🐢 for slow mode. Instead of having people work between 5h windows, just allow for a task to run uninterrupted but as resources free, even if it takes x2-10 the time.
@levelsio And I already gave several suggestions about the content generation / limits but that's another issue, and maybe another product all together.
Sure, but no way for the user to know that.
Even as a dedicated user I had to figure it's not a bug and just traffic (or bots spamming the votes).
I'd slowly make the message that entered the queue and didn't score, get from shiny to ghosted and broken until it shutters (client only).
Great experience with Grok Bot,
asked it to use Cursor and create a chrome extension to handle the audio levels when a generation is too loud and it seamlessly created the needed (and some other things around, as I observe the new current hype).
37,000 people watched Infinite Slop yesterday!
So I consider it a success and I registered a domain name for it:

Let me know if you have ideas how to improve, I thought maybe make the chat full height and move the video more left (like Twitch?) but also it looks cool like this?
Only 4 videos per minute can be generated (4x 15 seconds = 1 minute), so that's kind of a limitation, not everyone gets their video generated if it gets busy
Some people say "let people pay $$$ to bid on it" but that's less fun, I like kinda how 4chan-ey/Hoodmaps-ey it is now
Also some people said I should connect the new video with the previous video by using its last frame, that's possible but it causes a technical challenge where you have to generate SO fast without ANY slowdowns (and sometimes there is slowdowns in generating) to get a perfect sequence going, but maybe I can do it in a slightly imperfect manner
Watching this is oddly scarily addictive, and of course dystopian, but it's interesting to try these experiments early and see where it goes
Thanks @rehan_shei + @marcantoinefon for the idea and @fal for VERY generously sponsoring and making this possible!
@levelsio@karololszacki Not sure why, but it got nicer.
Getting a flamingo or a shawarma pole on the next generations as a minor addition and not the constant main character is a fun detail.
@levelsio@karololszacki Can a filter be built to age it out from the prompt?
Or maybe keep a rank number attached to each chat prompt, so it will minimize its importance on each iteration until it vanishes?
@levelsio Great additions. Maybe add ℹ️ that will keep updated with how everything works (and how some things are phased out).
Hope to get more structured programming in the future.
Clean slate.
## Practical Example: "The Remote"
* 0–5s: A tired man collapses onto his couch, sighs happily, and points the TV remote forward.
* 5–20s: He presses the button. Instead of the TV turning on, the entire room loudly freezes in time. He panics, presses it again, and fast-forwards his dog. He accidentally mutes his wife. Total chaotic confusion.
* 20–30s: He smacks the remote against his hand. He presses power again. The room snaps back to normal. He sighs happily again, puts the remote down, and decides to just read a book instead.
@LookAroundCafe Anyone can make a movie on an iphone, and still many outside factors and funds decides its future.
But now people don't need to invest in expensive film, its development and limited takes.
@levelsio ❤️ is great, but seems too enjoyable to spam (and a long click bursts iterations). 16:9 had some great generations that deserved highlighting and would be great to have the audience tag them as such.
Maybe some bookmark /⭐/ add to highlight?
1. Most have no idea how much effort and find tuning is still required (and for a long time will always be needed).
2. How the real world works and how most creations are just money converted to visuals (big bucks to hire huge crews that arrive early and leave later, getting animation/cgi to be done cheaper in the east).
3. Distribution is the main thing that matters.
