Imagine watching college basketball right now when you could be waiting for some nondescript guy named Keith to tweet about a bunch of weirdos jogging around a Tennessee state park while looking for book pages. #BM100
Leaders are not born. They’re made.
There's no such thing as a natural leader. Everyone starts out with shortcomings as well as strengths.
Leadership potential doesn't depend on the traits you possess. It emerges from the values you choose and the skills you learn.
One of the joys of attending state and national conferences is that you get to connect with leaders who are making an impact. @BergmanMrs you are a phenomenal leader and I will continue to follow and learn from you.
Many people fail to benefit from constructive feedback because they overreact and undercorrect.
When a helpful suggestion feels like a big threat to your ego, you only make a small change to your habits.
The best way to learn is to overcorrect. Discomfort is a sign of growth.
With all there is on Twitter, I found this absolutely fascinating. Sent it to my husband and said “Guess what?!?! We need a wall!” He’s thrilled, I’m sure.
I just sent out the first installment of the tour of my Wall of Things, items 1-20.
There are 184 items on my office wall, so this could take a while...sign up at the link below if you would like to receive the rest!

@spencerideas What surprises me is how often Ts don’t embrace the permission when it is afforded to them. How do leaders brave enough to give permission convince Ts is safe to run with their creative ideas?
@spencerideas I have come to this realization as well. When the permission is embraced and the purpose of the scripted materials is truly understood it allows for the cognitive capacity needed to be creative.
@Delta Cheers to your customer service rep Melody out of Tampa. She rocked it and got me all set up after hours of frustration yesterday. There are good people in this world!
