Interested in DNA damage repair? I'm excited to present our paper highlighting the role of the meiotic protein MND1 in somatic cells now out in @MolOncology 🔬
Thanks to all the co-authors for their amazing help! #dnarepair#homologousrecombination
🔥Hot off the press!
MND1 enables homologous recombination in somatic cells primarily outside the context of replication

Delighted to share that our latest preprint is out! https://t.co/ag9itdZRDp
Something to read during the holidays! 🎄✨ Thanks to all contributors @JonneRaaij@_ms03@marsotordlt@MedemaRene
Have you ever wondered if your favourite DNA repair protein modulates pathway balance depending on the local chromatin context? Check out our latest pre-print from the @MedemaRene and @bvansteensellab. A 🧵:

We identified dozens of DNA double-strand break repair proteins that modulate MMEJ:NHEJ balance depending on the local chromatin context: https://t.co/E6BZtUKHeb
Super happy that our paper is out!! Ever wondered whether the chromatin environment determines DSB toxicity after CRISPR/Cas9? Great collaboration, including my amazing co-first author @AnoekFriskes https://t.co/fAaeHpwXzU
Can double-stand break (CRISPR/Cas9) toxicity vary between different chromatin environments? We studied it. Excited to share these insights with you. Great collaboration with @LisaKoob6, MedemaLab @MedemaRene and @WilbertZ lab. https://t.co/fk0YI1jvYQ
We are excited to share our new pre-print! We show that a previously-thought meiotic protein, MND1, has an important role enabling repair of two-ended DNA double-strand breaks in somatic cells. Great effort from everyone involved!
Finishing a lot of outgrowth (GFP/mCherry) mixing experiments with a mixing-experimental cake. Because science is fun! Are you also looking forward to these results? Thanks @LisaKoob6, great collaboration.
Excited to share our manuscript focusing on the impact of different aneuploidies on chromosomal instability! @JonneRaaij@MedemaRene@marsotordlt@_ms03 and co-authors. https://t.co/JnAJNxnjkP
We were excited to receive our amazing #TeamRaceForResearch Alpe d'HuZes jerseys this week. But since the #ad6 is not happening this year, we opted for an alternative and went cycling together from and towards the @NKI_nl instead. See you next year in France!
We're a group of young female scientists from the #nki joining the #alpeduzes2020 to raise money for cancer research. Please help us reach our goal and donate money! https://t.co/Ejhy0pDEYh
