.@POTUS, on a call with @TreyYingst, reacts to the Iranians threatening to close the Strait of Hormuz:
"President Trump telling Fox News that the U.S. may take over the strait in the future, if they have to... and the President said, ultimately, that would involve the U.S. taking 20% of the oil that passes through the strait."
"The President says he holds the cards and maintains a variety of options if the Iranians don't make these serious commitments at the negotiating table."
Thanks to this court order, this public safety threat is now loose on our streets.
There is NO First Amendment right to lie on immigration forms. Any accusation of discrimination by ICE agents is FALSE.
Salah Sarsour is suspected of funding terrorist organizations and was convicted of throwing Molotov cocktails at the homes of Israeli armed forces. This illegal alien also LIED on his green card application to fraudulently gain legal status in the U.S. under the Clinton Administration.
If taking a scalpel and carving off a child's genitals after insidiously convincing them they were born in the wrong body doesn't warrant the death penalty, I'm not sure what does.
@curtis_yarvin So by calling him a harmless, prey species, your goal is what? Oh yeah, to try and talk him back into getting on the Democrat/ communist reservation? The trouble was socialist propaganda, is that once you see through it, you can never stop.
No that’s unlikely, your security is too good.
The reason they call you a Nazi is to get you to deny that you’re a Nazi.
First, that makes everyone think you’re a Nazi.
Second, it keeps you on the conservative/libertarian reservation. As a harmless prey species
You are smart as always for not jumping straight to outrage and instead asking the right question.
What you’re missing is the power of aligned incentives — Trump’s signature move.
Gulf states have long had a vested interest in keeping Iran weakened and isolated to eliminate competition and dominate the region.
They’ve learned that the U.S. and Israel will handle the security threats for them, so they play games: fund proxies, support destabilizing elements, and avoid real peace.
History shows this pattern in Iraq, Syria, Yemen, and even parts of Pakistan/Iran’s borders.
The genius here is forcing them to have real “skin in the game.” Invest in Iran’s reconstruction and prosperity so that their own interests align with a stable, thriving Iran, instead of the usual cycle of funding chaos, terrorism, and the cursed “Palestine” obsession that keeps the Middle East burning.
Even if the regime falls or changes, this shifts the dynamic from destruction to development. Money for civilian infrastructure + economic ties beats endless military rebuilds.
Win-win for the region, energy markets, and global security.
Well for one thing, the Iranians are already recruiting for Hezbollah on the streets of Tehran. They’re already “cashing the check” before it’s even paid.
Too many people are so focused on nuclear that they miss that the regime can do more damage with proxies and missiles. There is absolutely no benefit to this “deal”, and to see both Trump and JD publicly lie about Israel, and the IDF who have sacrificed so much, is simply indefensible. To see so few even mentioning it because they don’t want to seem against Trump is equally so.
Trump made a huge mistake and there should be nothing wrong or untoward about saying so.
Cal Poly SLO Maritime the only marine college on the West Coast (one of 5 in the USA) is just over the bridge towards Napa and not a single VC knows about it. Mechanical engineering for shipping, cybersecurity for logistics, etc. all withering away while 90% of global commerce still rides the seas.
I just can't get over how there is 550 acres of empty parking lot next to a deep water shipping terminal, rail connections, 20 mins by water from the world's capital of technology
And its just... empty. It's just empty.
Last night while the city was still cleaning up the carnage from a basketball parade that saw multiple assaults, stabbings, destruction of property and disorder, my district celebrated America’s 250th Birthday with fireworks, food, and civic pride.
Almost 10,000 people gathered at Ft. Totten park in Bayside from the afternoon to the evening to picnic, listen to music, and enjoy a spectacular fireworks show over Little Neck Bay — an annual tradition I was proud to restart when I took office four years ago, but took on special significance this year for America 250.
Ten thousand New Yorkers of all ages and backgrounds, and not one arrest, no shootings, no stabbings, no vandalism, no disorder. As it should be, and how it used to be all over the city.
Disorder is a choice, and it’s cultural. When you cultivate a culture of disregard for the law, you get chaos. And when you demand better of people and don’t tolerate disorder, you get functional civic life. It’s really that simple.
The mayor chooses the former. Here in District 19, we choose the latter. And the results speak for themselves.
God bless America!
