@graphxdesigner2@libsoftiktok The 'no candy' policy was never about health; it's about restricting the use of taxpayer dollars for NEEDS, not WANTs. Completely justifiable.
@libsoftiktok Bernie used to talk about 'taxing the millionaires'...until he became one. And then his harangue changed to 'taxing the billionaires'. Such a fraud.
@TanneriteCortez Jesus founded the Catholic Church, promised to send the Holy Spirit to guided it into all Truth, and prayed that we would all be one. Come home to the Catholic Church. You'll be most welcomed!
@Husker_AustinTX@ClownWorld@Pontifex People don't leave the Catholic Church because they find Truth elsewhere. They leave because it makes their life easier in some way--Sunday obligation, remarriage, birth control, etc. Or because they're outraged that some Catholics do awful things (when other Christians don't?).
@ClownWorld@Pontifex Weak, so weak...
1 Cor. 4:14β16 -- One of many that undermines your simplistic interpretation
If only Jesus had founded your denomination and then promised to send the Holy Spirit to it in order to guide it into all Truth...
@MatthewDoyle4@FeserEdward Catholics take Jesus' words literally (as did the apostles) when He said, "Unless you eat my flesh and drink my blood, you have no life within you."
Do you?
You are most welcome to how very much the Word of God is central to the Catholic faith!
@Lincolnpkpj@michaeljknowles We're the people who embrace the fullness of Truth, revealed by Jesus & guarded by the Holy Spirit He promised to send to the church He founded. He didn't promise perfect church members, only perfect Truth. Cease protesting His Truth & come home to His church! You'll be welcomed!
@Timo_Happ@catturd2 When Jesus said those words, many people who found them disturbing turned from Him, but instead of correcting their "misunderstanding," He doubled down. Shouldn't we be concerned about how He really meant it, not our own interpretation?
And do you believe all priests are pedos?
