Thoroughly enjoyed the stimulating conversations at the #AICONF in Belfast over lunchtime. I shared how we've been training our pupils on effective use of ChatGPT in their independent study.

What you already know determines what you are able to learn. Essential information from research by David Ausubel that every teacher or curriculum designer needs to know.
I love this revision game of connect 4. This one is for rivers. You can find resources here. Students have to answer the question correctly to place the counter. https://t.co/Yr8sNMdDlH #geographyteacher

This is an EXCELLENT video for explaining why and how rivers move. A really clear introduction to fluvial geomorphology, especially for KS5 geographers.
Perfect for teaching students about braiding, meandering and helicoidal flow.

Pupils completed the survey of where they live. We then zoom in on the map to their points & I tell them how GIS is very like Snapmaps (the way they are used to using maps these days).
