@joshtpm It’s about knowing your customer base. This was the marketing equivalent of Ruth’s Chris or McDonalds announcing a sudden an immediate transition to a “Vegan Only” menu. An egotistic abandonment of first principles. Gross incompetence.
@dviramar2 Causes one to think of those shouting “Ali Akbar” prior to a detonation. The target may have militarily warranted destruction, but there was something very twisted about adding a baruch to the act, especially as part of an order to detonate via radio.
@NTarnopolsky@KarivGilad Confronted by the realities of their reactionary knuckle dragging ideas, the bullies lash out. A normal human being would have empathy, recognize the risks, and recalibrate their rhetoric. An amateur demagogue disguised as a grown up only screams louder.
@MattGertz Why not note those that continue to support the anti-Semitic safety net that was Twitter?
Talking to you @oracle, @newscorp, @WSJ as a few examples destroying brand value by associating/promoting their businesses in Elon’s anti-Semite safe-zone.
@JoyceWhiteVance Cannon accepted a lifetime appointment to the bench from Trump after he lost the 2020 election. That decision defines her perspectives.
@emptywheel Understanding that Judge Cannon accepted Trumps appointment to the bench AFTER he had already lost the 2020 Election speaks volumes about her judgement, and even more about the corrupt situation as she presides over this case. Rule of Law has exited the court system.
@EdKrassen How is that different than having a mohel show up and offer to perform a bris for all players who are willing?
Within a high school sports team environment there is inevitably an element of peer pressure that alienates any kid who may not be interested. It’s just wrong.
If you watch one thing today, watch this:
“The Moral Case for Israel”
Democratic House Leader @RepJeffries brings the house down at the #MarchForIsrael rally in Washington, DC
.@DouglasKMurray to @piersmorgan:
“The thing that struck me, Piers, about seeing the 7th of October footage, was that even the Nazis were actually ashamed of what they did. SS battalions who spent their days shooting Jews in the back of the head and pushing them into trenches, had to get very, very drunk in the evening to forget what they had done. The Nazi high command had to famously sort of get around the problem of soldier morale because the soldiers knew this wasn’t exactly what their lives were meant to look like either.
“I tell you one very big difference. If you look at the raw footage—and I really hope people don’t on a wider scale have to view what I viewed the other day—if they see it, they will see something that is at least as barbaric as what the Nazis did.
“But here’s the difference: They did it with glee. They were deeply proud. You see people taking the head off a young Israeli man with a shovel and then calling their parents back in Gaza and telling them, father, father, … I’ve killed ten Jews in my hands, get mother on the phone, I want to tell her how great a job their son has done.
“I’m not exaggerating this. It’s very, very interesting. People need to realize you had this situation with the Nazis where they were also a genocidal anti-Semitic organization. But they tried to cover their crimes up.
“Hamas [is] actually proud of them, and they’ve said they will do them until the whole world is clear of Jews.
“So I suggest we take that seriously, and I think Israel is taking it seriously. I hope they continue to take it seriously. But I think the world should take it seriously.”
@djrothkopf Harry Truman was not a shrinking violet. Truman’s support at the UN in 1948 made Israel a reality and he also authorized using atomic bombs. Truman would certainly have something to say to Bibi about leadership and accountability.
