Inspirations galore! Sticking w/ me this morning is Colored, which realizes the dream of spatially anchored AR theater in a way I've never seen before. No drift whatsoever. How did they do it?? So cool and also so well suited to this piece.

It's always so inspiring to check out the projects at @Tribeca Immersive. @ListheDis and I had a wonderful time yesterday. Congrats to all of the creators! 💜
@rachsyme Stepping out of the rental car at your grandparents’ old stucco apartment, Hollywood Hills dark and quiet in the distance. It’s 9pm, but feels like midnight, exciting. Cement still radiating some heat and the grass next to the curb is damp and strong.
Delightful spending the weekend hanging out w/ @badchickstudios + many lovely XR folks at the @LightshipAR VPS hack! Janet Cardiff's Forty Part Motet was an inspiration for our app - sound mixing w/ your body in space! (Also ♥️ a hack that ends w/ mimosas 🥂)
Our project was a spatial audio experience that let you "unlock" instrument tracks to build a full song. You could also experiment with different mixes depending on the proximity to the instruments.
My team is looking to bring on a Lead 3D Artist for “City of Sand” a #sandpunk inspired narrative #VR experience. Check out the job post and hit me up if you might be interested. https://t.co/s8oOa6FohG
Been wanting to do some kind of Art X Science collab with my friend @yagranot for YEARS. Not only did the #xrbrainjam@G4C provide the perfect opportunity, they also teamed us up with amazing collaborators. I’m so proud of this unique, compelling, AND research-applicable project!
This guy used 150% of his brain and for public demos uses webcam covers to cover the Home button of Quest so that users don't accidentally press it! :O

Theater director Toshiki Okada explains that an “audience doesn’t ‘perceive’ things that are on the stage, they ‘conceive’ them . . . you create something that will be born in the audience.” How can #VR best leave room for this imaginative work in the minds of its audience?
@brendanAbradley 😍 When the hbo show came out I went looking to see if anyone was doing cool daemon AR stuff, but only found this pretty basic lens:

Truly interactive ones would be so dreamy!
LOVED working with @LizNewtonTanzer and the friendly folks from @LKGGlass on this “charmed object” in which you can call forth a hologram of your loved one to reach out and touch them @mitrealityhack. Used @record3d for easy peasy volumetric capture!
Warning! Don’t download an executable sent over Discord DM by someone (likely someone you know) asking you to playtest their game. It will sound plausible but it’s not. Some game design classmates have already gotten tripped up by this hack that’s been going around.
