‼️$15,000 reward for information in the cruelty case of a cat shot with a dart‼️

Alley Cat Allies is offering the reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction in the animal cruelty case of a cat named Trooper, who was shot with an orange-tipped blowgun dart in Conover, North Carolina.

Trooper was discovered shot on June 26 in the parking lot near a golf car shop at 6576 N NC Hwy 16. The orange end of the dart could be seen jutting out of her side. After days of efforts by local caregivers to rescue her, Trooper was rushed to the veterinarian on July 3.

➡️ Alley Cat Allies and the Catawba County Sheriff’s Office urge anyone with information to email the Sheriff’s Office at [email protected].

Trooper pulled through and survived emergency surgery to remove the dart. Alley Cat Allies covered the costs of her medical treatment, and she continues to recover in our care. Despite all she's been through and the extent of her injury, Trooper is doing better every day, and can't get enough of her wet food.

Shadow is a 15 month old male house cat. He is looking for a new home.
Shadow is neutered and chipped.
He is also healthy with no medical issues.
Shadow eats felix original cat food and is also litter trained.
He is very friendly but can be shy at first. He is use to older kids.
A home with no other pets is best as he is not use to other animals.
Shadow sleeps in his owners bed at night and has a scratch post.
He has two carry boxes which he is use to.

He would be great as a companion for someone or a family pet.

Folks, we need help.

We’ve had several very ill cats this month, but we didn’t see Leonidas’ illness coming at all.

The big, furry baby and a friend to all is battling FIP.

He’s already on meds for it (huge thanks to @StokesPharmacy for overnighting the treatment to us, we’re beyond grateful ❤️) but he’s struggling and needs 24/7 care.

We’ll cover his FIP treatment but we’re truly at the end of the rope financially right now and would appreciate any support you can spare.
