@enterprisecares Thanks for the message LIsa. We are talking directly to Customer Services now to try and resolve, but will NEVER hire from Enterprise again.
Double check your tyres carefully before hiring from #enterprisecarhire@enterprisecares@Enterprise. They have withheld our £200 deposit 'cos of a 3mm nick (they are claiming major damage) and say repairs likely to cost more. Sure they flagged us as we refused extra insurance.
@Equusartist Thanks for your tweet and the lovely picture of Dad. He would have loved being remembered by so many, so long after he hung up his saddle.
Lots of tributes paid to Edward Hide who has left us at 86. Many years ago helped write his memoirs “Nothing To Hide”. He was a one-off and I doubt there have been many with as sharp a racing brain to have enjoyed the success that he did in the saddle.
🗣️"Every trainer wanted to use him."
@AngusMcNae and @johnoconnell6 pay their respects to Derby-winning jockey Edward Hide, who sadly passed away earlier today, aged 86 👇
So sad that Edward Hide has passed away. Cock of the North 16 times, he won our Zetland Gold Cup 3 times: Henry VII (1962); Move Off (1977); Say Primula (1982). His Redcar highlight was riding Henry The Seventh to win the Zetland Gold Cup 6 weeks before winning the Eclipse Stakes
When Eddie Hide won the Derby, the race drew a crowd of 250,000 "I travelled to Epsom by train from York. Carrying a holdall containing my saddle, helmet and boots, I boarded the bus from Epsom Downs station to the course. You wouldn't do it today, would you? RIP Eddie
Sad to hear that Derby winning rider Edward Hide has died. He rode Blakeney and Morston to victory at Epsom, both trained by Arthur Budgett. Top jockey.
EDDIE HIDE 1937 - 2023
It is with sadness that today I heard of the passing of Eddie Hide.
I have written a short tribute to my great buddy. @susanhide2@Willhide

Thanks to the great cabin crew on @British_Airways 961 from Munich this evening; especially Brendon. Perfect balance of professionalism and friendliness.
@Willhide@djnev I did. Bloody stupid. It's not had the impact Amazon expected because nobody knows about it!! Everyone I told about it have never heard of it. There should have been a banner at the top of the @AmazonUK website telling people about it with a link to #AmazonSmile.
@LizzieCernik@SecretsHQ@BlackBerry Alas I'm not. Really miss my Blackberry but the last one died and I couldn't replace it. If they ever resurrect it I'll certainly go back!
@Willhide Did I inspire you 😆? It is amazing how ones bladder habits change when you might come face to face with a leopard or ele going for a midnight pee!! Hope your mattress is more comfortable than mine!
@GWRHelp I'm travelling Tiverton Parkway to Ashtead today (now!) via Reading and Guildford on a ticket not valid via London, but all trains cancelled Reading to Guildford as tree on track. Can I go via London?
