When I was about 7, I was on a float at a school fête. My fancy dress, chosen by my veeerrry Protestant Presbyterian mum and grandma was the Duchess of Kent- long blue dress and matching blue hat. I converted to Catholicism 10 years ago.
Of your charity, pray for the repose of the soul of The Duchess of Kent.
A model of charity, she took a regular job teaching music in one of the poorest schools in England, converted to Catholicism and inspired her children to do the same, giving up royal privileges in doing so.

@thattradgal@thewaronbeauty I live in Fontainebleau, France - St Louis is the patron Saint of our town (for obvious reasons!)
It’s wonderful to see him celebrated around the world
@GuntherEagleman@PHYS878 Yes. My dog Shep is in his final days. The very best of Good Boys, teaching me about faith and trust in God right to the end. My heart hurts but I’m so grateful to have shared 13 years with this beautiful canine piece of God’s Creation.
@MidwestMom1984@e1duchess@duolingo I couldn’t agree more. My family of five are out forthwith. Intolerance and lack of respect for diverse opinions is not acceptable.
