It turns out that journalist and media personality @TimKalyegira, who has been missing, was actually abducted, held incommunicado, and is now being arraigned for charging! Simply because he's been outspoken about Museveni and his son's crimes. We got to this point because everyone thought that someone else would fix it. Hopefully everyone now realises the collective danger and the collective duty. Only then shall we be free.

Two leading civil society leaders and distinguished lawyers, Dr. Sarah Bireete E.D @ccgea1 and Eunice Musiime E.D @amwaafrika are the latest victims of the ongoing criminality. They have been abducted by the military and driven off to an unknown destination. These are definitely tough times, but the TOUGH PEOPLE OF UGANDA will outlive them. Uganda will be free!

Fellow Ugandans,

It is with a heavy heart that I announce the passing of our dear sister and comrade, Edith Katende Mufumbiro, the wife of our Deputy Spokesperson, Alex Waiswa Mufumbiro.

Edith passed on after 3:00am today following a hard-fought battle with cancer. At the time of her passing, her dear husband Waiswa remains detained at Luzira Upper Prison for no crime whatsoever. His only crime is speaking out against injustice and misrule.

The criminal regime placed on him and others the sham charge of "Unlawful Drilling" which apparently took place on 12th February 2025 at our Party Headquarters. In fact, on that day, Waiswa never stepped there as he was at Mulago Cancer Institute with the wife! The judiciary, fully aware of these facts, has chosen to conspire in this persecution.

Waiswa, alongside other comrades, has applied for bail severally. He has variously made an impassioned plea to the Court to be released on bail so that he takes care of his sick wife, but it has been denied. The injustice!

As difficult as it is, we remain hopeful that we shall overcome some day. May God grant the family, especially our brother Waiswa, the strength he needs at this time.

This video, recorded stealthily, shows how our Party, @NUP_Ug's Deputy President for Western Region, Mama Jolly Jacklyn Tukamushaba, was abducted and taken away by the military. They confiscated all materials she had on the eve of the election, including appointment letters for our polling agents and the funds she had to facilitate them. To date, her whereabouts remain unknown!

The Deputy President for Northern Uganda, Dr. Lina Zedriga was also abducted by the military, and her whereabouts remain unknown.
