Over the last few weeks we see dozens of videos of alleged corruption in Tamil Nadu from all over the State. Only an idiot will think that this means corruption has suddenly increased.
I see this as a hugely positive sign. That people can report such acts bravely and expect action to be taken by the Govt. is huge.
In previous years we wouldn't have seen as many such videos.. The sold out media would have buried the few that did come out. And the corruption would have gone on as before.
CM Vijay is at least making an effort to curb corruption. That in itself is commendable.
Next step is to make as many processes online as possible. Vehicle registration, driving license renewal, building registration (already in pipeline), issue of certificates etc etc. When the need for contact with Govt staff reduces, corruption automatically reduces.
Let us hope the drive continues. 👍👏👏👏

Bullet Trains without the Bullet

So, the "Mumbai Ahmedabad Bullet Train" project will not have bullet trains anymore.

Mr. @hmakihara, a former Japanese Railway Engineer who was also a minister, closely monitoring the Mumbai - Ahmedabad project, has clearly called Modi and Vaishnaw's tomfoolery.

We chose to use European ECTS-L2 signaling system instead of using Shinkansen signaling system for Japanese Bullet Trains so that we are going to run a 200-250 kmph High speed train finally to inaugurate the project somehow.

After spending more than 2 lakh crore we've achieved this finally.

Chennai police statement on summoning journalist Vijayan could not have gotten more vague. A journalist speaks to many people on a daily basis. And more so during a politically volatile situation.

Worth remembering that it is Govt’s job to make sure that contaminated fuel is not sold. Car owners have no way of testing fuel while filling. Either way it’s Govt’s fault. There is a huge Govt machinery tasked with this but it is corrupt. Learnt to take some responsibility
