Complaining about the Google algo and SERPs is the worse SEO strategy ever.
Instead of blaming Google and wishing they’d do XYZ, try doing something that will put you in a better position.

@jamesatbuzz@GoogleMyBiz@mblumenthal@DarrenShaw_@Miriam_Ellis_ Food Trucks are businesses but are often unable to use Google My Business due to their inability to receive mail. However, they are allowed to be mapped and could be added as a place on Google Maps if their location is permanent.
As Google continues to surface more information from the website associated with a GMB profile and third party websites in the local pack, they may be growing less reliant on the data supplied by profile owners to generate results.
Interesting how Google is pulling site info to populate local pack for “covid testing near me” related searches.
Clicking into the listings shows a note to verify the entity is actually doing testing.
The third listing seems to be auto-generated, as it’s a popup testing site.

Fun game for marketers:
You run a local pizza shop. You have $10,000 to invest in any marketing activity you'd like, how would you allocate that budget today?
Let's hear your ideas.
If you Google a restaurant's phone number and call them directly to make an order, it's often actually an SEO'd up redirect number created by Grubhub, which takes a cut from the order just as if you made it on their app https://t.co/wIIJCvQPvV
We do a lot of #SEO audits, which has us wondering...
How are all these SEOs able to so quickly assess their sites to come up with these core update pieces?
You’d have to review at least 100 sites? Spend at least an hour (if not more) on each?
Maths doesn’t add up...
So as much as you want to track the algorithm and your rankings, you should be tracking the SERPs themselves (with @serpwoo of course). It will allow you to learn Google's intent.
It's very evident by their updates are not all about the user...or your backlinks 🙃
@DarrenShaw_@MatthewJBrown@lilyraynyc@hamletbatista As per the rest, Sitemaps.
But you can submit multiple, prioritising top/vital pages first.
