π¨π Robots are taking over factory jobs at BMW.
Figure (@Figure_robot) just delivered its newest humanoid robot, Figure 03, to BMW's Spartanburg plant.
They will
> Sort car parts and drop each in the right spot
> Pick up small, thin parts without breaking them
> Drag heavy metal carts down the line
It's Figure 03's first run at this kind of work, trying to prove one robot can handle the messy, hands-on jobs regular machines can't.
π LOCKED IN: Arena just hit $100 million a year, 8 months after launch.
Arena (@arena) is a tool that tests AI on real tasks to see which models are actually good.
> Just hit $100M ARR
> In 8 months
> Started as a college project
Now it does more than ask "which answer do you like?" It checks if the AI finished the job and how often it lied.
Arena has crossed $100M in annualized revenue run rate, eight months after launching our evaluation product.
With our recent release of Agent Mode, millions of users on Arena are doing real work with agents, from coding to document analysis, in long-running, multi-turn sessions with hundreds of tool calls. Arena now evaluates objective criteria like task completion rates, hallucination rates, and more, far beyond our original human preference voting model. This expansion has taken us from a student project at Berkeley to one of the fastest growing companies in history. Go Bears! π»
Our core thesis is simple: to align AI with human values, we must directly measure its impact on people in the real world. Today's milestone is proof that Arenaβs platform is the de-facto standard for post-deployment evaluation of AI.
π Anthropic just released Claude Sonnet 5.
It can now do real, multi-step work on its own. not just chat back and forth.
It nearly matches Opus, their top model, while costing a fraction as much.
Available free today.
Introducing Claude Sonnet 5, our most agentic Sonnet yet.
It makes plans, uses tools like browsers and terminals, and runs autonomously at a level that just a few months ago required larger and more expensive models.
