As the University of Michigan declares that the new semester will begin on time, I'm thinking back to spring break 2020, when it was clear the pandemic was incoming, but the university refused to move online until cases were detected in Michigan.

So I came home: already sick.

France is mandating work from home starting on January 3rd. The Netherlands is on lockdown, and so is most of the UK due to omicron. But here in the US we're throwing the doors open to just about everything. It's going to be quite a January.

@Johnny_JDW @1nstan7 Sandy Hook is an elementary school that had a mass shooting in 2012. If those kids were still alive they would be in high school. So the point is that being “pro-life” should include legislation aimed at preventing mass shootings (ie gun control) not just anti-abortion laws.
