Scientists and educators age fastest. Athletes age slowest.
A facial aging clock trained on occupation-linked photos found that the gap between your biological face-age and your real age predicts all-cause mortality. The wider that gap, the higher your risk.
Women aged slower than men in every single occupation measured. No exceptions.
The ranking, from youngest-looking to oldest-looking relative to chronological age:
Athletes > service workers > sales > clerical > managers > professionals > scientists and educators.
The people who study aging for a living look the oldest. I wish I could say I'm surprised.
Your face is a record of cumulative stress, UV, sleep loss, and metabolic wear. Your job title determines how much of each you get.
Spending per homeless person since 2019:
NYC +187%, SF +190%, PDX +430%, LA +480%. Average: +320
Floor estimates.
Homeless pop over same period: +13%
Spending up ~320%. Problem up ~13%.
NYC spends more per homeless person than the median NYC household earns. $81,705 per person in FY2025.
And $81,705 is a floor. It excludes supportive housing (~$500M/yr), mental health response teams, and NYPD encampment costs.
The city projects ~$97K per person in FY2026.

Joe Rogan Just Exposed AI
Rogan just sat down with Dr. Roman Yampolskiy, one of the world’s leading AI safety voices.
What came out of this conversation will change the way you think about the future of humanity.
Here are 8 critical insights about AI that every American needs to hear:
INSURGENCY: If you're an insurgent funding, coordinating, supplying, or engaged in attacks on law enforcement, federal property, or federal officers you are being monitored from 10,000 to 50,000 feet by a Reaper drone equipped with the Gorgon Stare. It can monitor a 50 mile radius around LA and has a 2mm resolution allowing for facial recognition and license plate reading. The administration is determined to find those responsible for the insurgency. No one is above the law.
Elon Musk’s products—Starlink, Tesla, the rockets he launches—receive government contracts all over the world because they’re the best at what they do. The competition is far behind.
You wouldn’t go for second best if you want the best wireless internet and the next best thing is ten times slower and ten times more unreliable. You wouldn’t opt for the ESA or NASA or any number of startups to launch satellites when SpaceX does it for many times less and carries a heavier payload on regular schedules.
Unlike others, Elon’s products don’t get picked because he lobbies governments to give his companies the contracts. You wouldn’t go for a trainee fresh out of boot camp if you’re looking for a hardened warrior to take out Osama Bin Laden, so why would any government or corporation go for the alternatives?
Trump’s criticism about saving money by cutting Elon’s contracts is totally out of bounds, and it’s out of touch. By denying him the contracts, the US government is going to end up spending many times the amount of money on products that won’t even deliver what they need, if they even deliver at all.
