Today we celebrate the ⚓ 🛥️ Day of the Seafarer, globally women represent only 2 percent of the 1.2 million seafarers. In the Pacific 16,000 people work in the maritime sector, 11% are women, of which 2% are employed as women seafarers. @IMOHQ @PacWima
