I spoke again with Qasim and Sulaiman Khan, and this conversation was the most heartbreaking.

Not only is their father, the former Prime Minister of Pakistan, still in solitary confinement, but his three courageous sisters, Aleema, Uzma and Noreen, have now also been arrested

And when @PTIofficial supporters hit the streets, many were arrested, beaten, and even killed!

Imran Khan’s sons say they haven't spoken to their father in over 6 months, nobody has seen him for 2 months, and they're increasingly worried about his deteriorating health.

I asked them the hardest question of all: Do they still believe they’ll ever see their father again?

Qasim admitted, he has very little hope, but they will never stop fighting

I told them both I wouldn't give up hope.

جہاں ٹکے ٹکے کی نوکریوں اور زمینی خداؤں کی خوشنودی کے لیے ضمیر فروشی ایک عام چلن بن گیا ہے، خیبر پختونخواہ پولیس میں آج بھی ایسے بہادر اور غیرت مند سپوت موجود ہیں جو اپنی حمیت اور روایات کو اپنی زندگی پر مقدم رکھتے ہیں۔ عمران الدین سے نہ کبھی کوئ رابطہ رہا نہ کوئ وابستگی تھی۔ پہلی دفعہ ان کا ذکر سوشل میڈیا پر سُنا جہاں ناصرف انہوں نے میرے گھر کی خواتین کے ساتھ دست درازی سے انکار کیا بلکہ مجسٹریٹ کے سامنے اپنے بیان میں اعتراف کیا کہ میرے رشتہ داروں کے گھر چھاپے کے احکامات آئ ایس آئ کے کرنل کی جانب سے دیے گئے تھے۔ دوسری دفعہ ان کا تذکرہ، دہشت گردوں کے ساتھ مقابلے میں زخمی ہونے کی خبر میں پڑھا۔ متعدد بار ٹارگٹ اور ہر دوسرے دہشت گردی کے واقعے میں اس کی موجودگی کی خبر پڑھنے کو ملی تو کسی کو پیغام بھجوایا کہ جب واضح ہوگیا کہ اس فرض شناس افسر کو ٹارگٹ کیا جا رہا ہے اور مجھے لگ رہا ہے کہ اس رات کے سٹینڈ اور پھر روایات کا پاس رکھنے پر ملنے والی عزت و مقبولیت پر باقی افسران کو پیغام دینے اور میری وجہ سے ٹارگٹ کیا جا رہا ہے تو مجھے اس کی بڑی فکر ہے کیونکہ یہ اتفاق تو نہیں ہوسکتا کہ ہر خبر اس پر حملے سے شروع اور جہاں اس کی موجودگی ہو ادھر ہی دہشت گردی کے واقعات اور مقابلہ ہو، چاہے وہ ہنگو ہو کوہاٹ ہو یا کرک۔
جواباً بتایا گیا کہ ڈی ایس پی عمران الدین سے ہم نے بھی کئی مرتبہ بات کی اسے بھی سمجھ ہے لیکن کہتا ہے کہ کرنے دو ان کو جو کرنا ہے۔ میرے لیے کسی سے بات نہیں کرنی میں مقابلہ کروں گا۔ میں نہیں چاہتا کوئی یہ سمجھے میں ان حملوں سے خوف زدہ ہوگیا ہوں۔
آج بالاخر فارم سنتالیس کے کٹھ پتلی وزیر اعظم نے اقبالِ جرم کیا کہ دہشت گردوں کو واپس لانے کی پالیسی غلط تھی لیکن یہ نہیں بتایا کہ عمران خان نے اس پالیسی کو ابسولٹلی ناٹ کہا تھا اور رجیم چینج کے بعد پہلی ہی سیکورٹی کمیٹی کی میٹنگ میں آرمی چیف اور ڈی جی آئی ایس آئی نے یہ پالیسی سامنے رکھی تو بغیر بحث کے منظوری کرا لی گئ۔ اگلے ہفتے افغانستان وفد بھیجا گیا، جولائی ۲۰۲۲ کے آخری ہفتے پہلی تشکیل ہوئی، دو دفعہ ہم نے نکالا لیکن ہمارے سروں کی قیمت جاری کر کے جرنیلوں اور ان کی کٹھ پتلیوں نے یہ مقتل گاہ سجا دی۔ دہشت گردی کی آڑ میں جنہوں نے پختونخواہ پر قبضہ کیا وہ میڈ اپ دہشت گردی لانے والے ہیں۔ آج ڈی ایس پی عمران الدین کی شہادت کی خبر سُن کر فخر بھی ہوا اور افسوس بھی۔ عاصم منیر کی اس مسلط کردہ میڈ اپ دہشت گردی کا ایندھن اور کتنے گھرانے، کتنے بہادر سپوت بنیں گے اور کتنے بے گناہ ان کی ہوس کی قیمت چکائیں گے، اللہ بہتر جانتا ہے۔

🇵🇰 IMRAN KHAN'S SISTERS have spent 30 DAYS IN DETENTION.

Their family still doesn't know when they're coming home.

@KhanShershah says his aunts, Dr. Uzma Khan and Noreen Niazi, have now reached the end of their 30-day detention under Pakistan's Maintenance of Public Order law.

He says the family has received no new detention order, no explanation for their continued imprisonment, and neither woman has been allowed to see her family or lawyers.

I find this absolutely disgraceful.

These are two women whose brother happens to be Imran Khan. If the authorities have lawful grounds to keep them imprisoned, produce the order and let their lawyers challenge it.

Otherwise, RELEASE THEM!

A government that cannot tolerate the political loyalty of someone's sisters has a serious problem explaining what it thinks justice means.

And after an entire month, their family deserves something considerably better than silence.

🚨🇵🇰 Imran Khan's son accused Pakistan's military leadership of using emergency rule to CRUSH political opposition.

As protesters demand the jailed fmr. PM's release, Kasim Khan says military chief Munir is targeting the Pakistani province where his father's party holds power.

He accuses the authorities of using terrorism as a pretext for further military operations and demands the release of political prisoners.

Now, as Pakistanis have taken to the streets to protest my father’s release, Asim Munir’s regime imposes emergency rule in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (my father’s political stronghold).

Having failed to secure Balochistan or Azad Kashmir, Munir once again invokes terrorism to justify another military operation in Pashtun lands. Yet again sacrificing lives in an attempt to cling on to power.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s democratic mandate must be restored. My father, our detained family members, PTI representatives and all political prisoners must be released immediately. The people’s right to peaceful protest must be respected.

Pakistan belongs to its people, not its military.

DISGRACEFUL
The imposition of emergency in KP is the final nail in the demolition of democracy. The one province whose 2/3rd mandate could not be stolen has been taken over by an unrepresentative, fraudulent set-up in Islamabad. Only the people of KP had the right to remove their government, not the unelected, gun-imposed usurpers in Islamabad.

All reports suggest that the only sticking point was a meeting with Mr Imran Khan, the people’s falsely incarcerated leader. Those who cannot bear even his image emerging from the dungeons they hold him in are dragging the country down in their petty spiteful malicious hatred. Personal animosity is consuming Pakistan. Poverty and elite capture are up. Those who collude spinelessly grow richer, and plotocracy, and fascism rise.

Never in Pakistan’s history have children been seized and beaten to force their parents into submission. Destruction of property is the police’s new routine. Elected PTI representatives continue to be tortured and kidnapped by masked regime changers, while the judiciary kneels at the altar of the wicked.

The message to encourage terrorism in Balochistan was that constitutional peaceful protests for missing persons were brutally supressed, their women leaders sentenced for life. The same message was given to Azad Jammu and Kashmir, our heart and soul, whose peaceful massive protests were viciously strangulated, with dozens of killings. Is KP now being given the same message by the destroyers of Pakistan, the PPP, PMLN and their Gods?

I assure you, they won’t succeed because Imran Khan abhors violence. PTI and the people of Pakistan will continue our peaceful struggle come what may.

This is our home. We will protect it. Not through the gun but through the compassionate democratic embrace of the miserable, poor, hungry, and downtrodden of all provinces and entities that constitute Pakistan.

I nominate these despicable usurpers for a Nobel Prize, not for peace, but for the fastest effort to demolish a country and its people.

You do everything to destroy us, but Imran Khan will build from the ashes and the filth that you leave behind as you escape.

میرے پاکستانیو! لیڈر ہمارا ناحق قید میں، اس کا پورا خاندان مقید، سپریم کورٹ کے حکم پر بھی علاج کی سہولت میسر نہیں۔ مینڈیٹ ہمارا چرایا، جعلی لوگ مسلط کرکے جعلی لوگوں سے، جعلی قانون سازی کروا کر عدالتیں کنٹرول کیں، جبر اتنا کہ ہلاکو خان بھی شرما جائے۔ گھر توڑے خواتین کو ہراساں کیا، کارکنان، اراکین اسمبلی، ان کے بچوں تک کو اغوا اور لاپتہ کیا۔ اس سب کے باوجود ہم نے انصاف کا دروازہ کھٹکھٹایا۔ آئینی و قانونی ہر راستہ اپنایا اور بار بار اپنایا۔ اب جب سپریم کورٹ کے حکم پر بھی علاج کی سہولت نہ ملی، نو مہینے کی بے رحمانہ قید تنہائ، اپیلوں کی سنوائی کے لیے اور نا حق اسیری کے خلاف پر امن لانگ مارچ کا آغاز ہوا تو جعلی مسلط شدہ ٹولہ اور ان کی ڈوریاں ہلانے والوں نے اس کے نام پر شروع؛ آئین و قانون کے مطابق اور پر امن مارچ کے سامنے پختونخواہ کی عوام کا سودا کرنے کی شرط رکھ دی۔ وہ جس نے ملک و قوم کا سودا کرنے سے انکار کرتے ہوئے وزارت عظمی قربان کی، تین سال سے ناحق اسیری کاٹ رہا ہے۔
شرط ہے کہ اپنی عوام کو میڈ اپ دہشت گردی کا ایندھن بناؤ یعنی لشکر کشی میں ساتھ دو۔ عوام کو بے گھر کرکے فوجی چیک پوسٹیں قائم کرکے، قطاروں میں ذلیل کرنے کی تاریخ دہراؤ۔ اُن پر بے دریغ بمباری کی اجازت دو، تو ہی آپ کے لیے آسانی ہوگی ورنہ آسانی تو دور پختونخواہ حکومت ختم کرکے آپ کو کچل کے رکھ دیں گے۔عمران خان کی حکومت میں اس بات کا ایبسلوٹلی ناٹ کے علاوہ تو کوئ جواب مل نہیں سکتا تھا۔ جواب یہی ملا کہ لعنت تمہاری ایسی آسانی پر جو اپنے لوگوں کے خون کا سودا کرنے سے مشروط ہو۔
لعنت ایسی ہوسِ اقتدار پر جو اپنے لوگوں کو آگ کا ایندھن بنادے۔ملک کو تو تباہ کر دیا آپ کی اس ہوس نے۔ بلوچستان میں لشکر کشی کے بعد آپ کا وزیر اعلی اور کور کمانڈر کینٹ سے باہر نہیں جا سکتا لیکن پختونخواہ پر لشکر کشی کرنی ہے۔ امن مقصد ہوتا تو صوبائی اسمبلی میں پختونخواہ کی تاریخ کا سب سے بڑا جرگہ ہوا جس میں صوبے کے تمام سٹیک ہولڈرز شامل تھے، دیرپا امن کے لیے ان کی بتائ پالیسی پر عمل ہوتا لیکن فوج و وفاقی حکومت نے اس جرگے پر بغاوت غداری اور وفاق کو تقسیم کرنے کا فتوی لگایا۔جن کی زندگیاں وابستہ ہیں، جن پر ان حالات کا براہ راست اثر ہونا ہے۔ ان کی پالیسی قبول نہیں کیونکہ مقصد امن نہیں۔
مقصد؛ ایک طرف افغانستان کے حوالے سے کی گئی کمٹمنٹس کو پورا کرنے کا وقت آپہنچا ہے جس کے لیے پختونخواہ کو ایندھن بنایا جائے گا۔ دوسری طرف پاکستان کے ہر دور کے جنرل و ڈکٹیٹر کا طاقت کے طول کا آزمودہ فارمولہ؛ پاکستان کو نئی پیکنگ میں سیکورٹی سٹیٹ بنا کر پیش کرنا ہے۔ رہی بات ایمرجنسی کی تو کون نہیں جانتا جن دہشت گردوں کی آبادکاری کی پالیسی یہ عقلِ کُل لے کر آئے تھے اُن کے مطالبات کا تیسرا نکتہ فاٹا کو وفاق کے زیر انتظام دینا یعنی فاٹا مرجر کو واپس کرناتھا۔ وہی مرجر جس کے حوالے سے انہی کا بیانیہ تھا کہ ملک دشمن قوتیں اور ان کے آلہ کار فاٹا انضمام کے خلاف ہیں۔ تو کیا اب یہ دشمن کے ایجنڈے پر عمل پیرا نہیں؟
مارچ عمران خان کی رہائی کا تھا ہے اور یہی مطالبہ ہے۔ رہی بات دہشت گردی کے حالیہ بیانیے کی تو حقیقت یہی ہے کہ موجودہ لہر آئی نہیں لائی گئی، دہشت گرد آئے نہیں لائے گئے، صرف لائے نہیں گئے باقاعدہ رُوٹ لگا کر اپنی نگرانی میں پھیلائے گئے۔ اور جس ایمرجنسی کے لگانے کے لیے آج ان کٹ پتلیوں کو بٹھا کر بیانیے بنائے جارہے ہیں یہ انہی کے آرمی چیف کے الفاظ ہیں کہ فاٹا کو وفاق کے حوالے کرنا طالبان کا مطالبہ ہے۔جی! آرمی چیف نے کہا فاٹا کو صوبے سے وفاق کے حوالے کرنا طالبان کا مطالبہ ہے۔ جس پالیسی کے تحت ان دہشت گردوں کو آباد کیا جا رہا تھا اس کا تیسرا نکتہ ہی یہی تھا۔ ایک بار پھر ہر میدان میں ناکامی کے بعد بالآخر جمال، کمال کا نام استعمال کرکے پاکستان کو دلدل میں دھکیلا جارہا ہے مگر یہ قوم نہ تو مزید کسی کی جنگ میں ایندھن بنے گی نا ہی بے گھر ہوگی نا ہی مارٹر گولوں، ڈرون اور لڑاکا طیاروں کا نشانہ بن کر کولیٹر ل ڈیمج بنے گی، نا ہی اپنے گھر میں قطاروں میں کھڑے ہوکر آپ کے ہاتھوں ذلیل ہوگی۔ جب نکلنا ہی ہے تو اپنے گھروں کی تباہی کے بعد بے گھری کیوں جھیلیں، تمہارے ان گھناؤنے منصوبوں کے خلاف نکل کر اپنے مسیحا عمران خان کو واپس لانے کے لیے نکلیں گے۔

Currently, my Aunties are still abducted. Family and lawyers have received no update on how they are, nor why they are incarcerated. Concerning my father, there is complete silence.

My brother and I have had no contact with him for more than six months. We do not even know the true state of his health.

Meanwhile, thousands of Pakistanis are peacefully taking to the streets to protest against his illegal and politically motivated imprisonment.

However, the people of Pakistan have not given up. No barricade, intimidation or repression can muzzle the people’s demand for justice and their democratic right to be heard.

There can be no lasting peace or stability while their democratic will is suppressed and their chosen leader remains behind bars.

🇵🇰 13 DAYS SINCE the detention of IMRAN KHAN'S THREE SISTERS, their family still hasn’t been allowed to see them!!

Aleema Khan, 68, Dr Uzma Khan, 66, and Noreen Niazi, 72, were detained for 30 days under Pakistan’s Maintenance of Public Order law ahead of PTI’s planned MARCH.

Now Aleema’s son Shershah says the family has gone through the courts, the Home Secretary and the Deputy Commissioner without gaining access to the women or being able to independently confirm their wellbeing.

The state says these are lawful preventive detentions. The family is now going back to the Lahore High Court simply asking to see the detainees and their lawyers.

Whatever the political justification offered for detaining them, there is a much simpler issue here.

Their children want to see their mothers.

They want to know they are safe.

میں دبئی سے ایک مرتبہ واپس آ رہا تھا تو میرے ساتھ بیٹھے شخص نے کہا کہ میں ریٹائرڈ جنرل ہوں۔ مشرف کے کہنے پر آپ پر ٹارچر کیا، میرا ارادہ نہیں تھا اور میں شرمندہ ہوں۔ میں نے اُس سے پوچھا، بھائی، تمہارا تعارف کیا ہے؟ اُس نے کہا، میں ریٹائرڈ آئی ایس آئی افسر احسان الحق ہوں۔ یہ ان کی اوقات رہ جاتی ہے، یہ ان کی کل اوقات ہے۔ اب گورنر راج لگا کر اُسے گورنر KPK لگائیں گے۔

عاصم منیر صاحب، واپس آؤ! اپنی اوقات میں واپس آؤ۔ جو تمہاری حیثیت ہے، وہیں واپس آؤ۔ تم عوام کا مقابلہ نہیں کر سکتے۔ عوام سویا ہوا شیر ہے، اُسے مت جگاؤ۔ تمہاری کوئی اوقات نہیں، تم بھسم ہو جاؤ گے

Still no reason as to why they’re incarcerated. Please turn your attention towards Pakistan. It’s currently a state of chaos, with violent, vindictive criminals in charge.

They only fear foreign intervention. People within Pakistan are oppressed, if they speak out, they put their families in life threatening danger. @andyburnham @Ed_Miliband, I implore you to take a stand. Urge this establishment to listen to reason and free those unjustly incarcerated.
