@DavidSGingras@Fenchurch72@Desertwitch3 If she was never pregnant, she shouldn't have contacted him, considering he said no to continuing any sort of relationship. There would not have been any communication, so there would not have been any harassment. Therefore, she would not have been entitled to the OOP.
@Sis03917669@LerinStein@raefauxnie@IvanaE@rski321 I completely agree, I've told my story on other posts and also said, I would have never spoken to him the way AH spoke to JD. There was never a correct tone to use with him, but her way, would have things so much worse.
@GoAskAlice710 @laura_auerbach I woke up 3 months later, I had been in a coma, on life support, I had 6 surgeries due to internal bleeding. I had to have 3 facial cosmetic surgeries, months of rehab to learn to walk again and years of therapy. It took a long for me to speak about my abuse or my ex-husband. (5)
@GoAskAlice710 @laura_auerbach ever spoke to him that way. We were at his family's house and I saw an opportunity to call my family and told them what was going on, he caught me on the phone a was actually nice about it, until we got home. I remember bits and pieces about what happened that day. (4)
@GoAskAlice710 @laura_auerbach As a survivor of DV myself, I made excuses for him, I took blame to keep peace, I was trapped, wasn't allowed to go anywhere or have friends and was cut off from my family. Listening to the recordings of her taunting him, I know would have made my situation so much worse if I (3)
@GoAskAlice710 @laura_auerbach Different. She said "I spoke up against sexual violence" and accused him of sexual violence, how else would anyone think it wasn't about him? I was impartial while listening to the trial in the US and she was not believable in some of stories she told, nor was he. (2)
@GoAskAlice710 @laura_auerbach When I first heard about the abuse, I was sickened of JD, not because he's likeable but because of the accusations and the UK trial. I think almost everyone in the world believes the op-ed is about him. I personally cannot believe she didn't think the world would think any (1)
@mr3eyd@FemCondition I believe if she was truly telling a therapist for years about it, the therapist would have suggested lots of things, leave him, report him, seek medical attention or at least photograph every bruise, cut, any marks left after every incident.
