@PieterZwartNL Het gaat om het stukje “the offence for which the card was shown”. Dat is niet de schwalbe in dit geval. Maar het is toch hoe dan ook kwalijk dat er zoveel discussie kan zijn rondom een regel. Dan is die regel dus echt niet goed geformuleerd.

@PieterZwartNL Bij nader inzien denk ik toch dat de regel niet goed wordt toegepast. De overtreding waar geel wordt gegeven is niet de schwalbe maar de ‘overtreding’ van Paredes. Dus als je het goed leest mag de gele kaart niet aan een andere speler worden gegeven voor een andere overtreding

Terwijl geel geven voor een schwalbe op t middenveld gebeurt echt zelden. Nu met deze VAR call moet de scheids m wel aan Embolo geven

@PieterZwartNL Als je het zo leest lijkt het wel terecht maar de naam mistaken identity is wel erg misleidend. Op basis daarvan zou je zeggen dat het gaat om gele kaart voor de verkeerde speler van hetzelfde team.
