@LondonMoneyFS His salary is less than 10% of his income and is low, we’ll never attract good people into public service by offering low salaries- some of salaries for big jobs in Whitehall are a joke , it’s no wonder nothing gets delivered. I’m not looking for villains, just a fairer system
@LondonMoneyFS Yes, because he’s earned more and has an annual income more than most people will earn in their lives. A fair system for all is needed esp to get rid of the cliff edge at £100k. Taxing income so high and captain gains lower will never improve distribution of wealth

@MartinSLewis Can pressure be put on banks to issue new mortgage offers for 12 months now instead of 6. Would let millions lock in at a cheaper rate now, avoid repayment charges, it’s a product transfer so they keep the customer and avoid future problems for customers and them if rates are 6%
