Yesterday, we deliver 653 pounds of food to the Eastern Shore Branch of the Maryland Food Bank.

680,000 Marylanders rely on SNAP to put food on the table, including:

120,000 older adults,
270,000 children and,
120,000 Marylanders with disabilities.

The federal government is leaving them in limbo.

But in Maryland, we protect our people.

We are approaching a dire point in our country. Yet Congressman Harris and his allies continue to hold our Federal Government hostage in an effort to end ACA subsidies and raise healthcare premiums on the Eastern Shore by over $13,100 a year.

SNAP prevents hunger here, & with over $6 billion in a Department of Agriculture fund to continue SNAP benefits, there will be no benefits issued on Nov 1.
