I'm genuinely excited about the use of AI detection tools on Substack. As inaccurate as those can be, it's ultimately better than nothing.

I instantly went to check Dana Kippel's work, and she hasn't posted anything since Substack announced it, as to where before she often posted multiple times a day.

This is true for many others I'm aware of in the alt-science/health/conspiracy space.

@NegedeYehuda My favorite part of 1 Enoch is the Animal Apocalypse where it clearly shows very pious, literate Jews at the time had ZERO interest in rebuilding the temple or even living in Jerusalem (they wanted to live in the Wilderness Camp again). Now that's a message that's needed.

How about some recognition to the fact that the Animal Apocalypse in 1 Enoch in metaphor proves that there were many Jews that had no interest in rebuilding the temple, and thought that "paradise" was going back to living like the Wilderness Camp. But I suppose that screws with too many necessary Christian narratives today.

@cosmic_clock Also, Allegro's book wasn't controversial because it talked about mushrooms and Christianity. It was controversial because he said Jesus didn't exist and was actually a mushroom. That's literally the only reason that book had noteriety, and Puharich's isn't as well remembered.
