Isn't it unbelievably dumb that both halves of the neoliberal political class, both Labour and Tory, live in a dream world where the inevitable coming ruptures of climatic breakdown simply do not appear in their "forecasts".

According to numerous papers and reports we are looking at 100s of millions of refugees by the end of this decade and the end of the global trading system (for ever) as the world heads over 2C in the 2030s. Add into the mix the inevitable collapse of the global insurance industry, and the coastal property bubbles, and only super clever people are stupid enough to think that decline is "unthinkable".

The real question is "what comes next?" -fascism or a new democratic revolution.
