And it's out at last!!😀 Very excited to be sharing this great piece of work from the lab. Congrats @inesmcunha and a big thank you to the fantastic #AI4CellFate crew ❤️
Our work “AI4CellFate: Interpretable Early Cell Fate Prediction with Generative AI” is finally out in @biorxivpreprint !!! 😍❤️🔬https://t.co/nG9xXw390d @scilifelab, @franciscrick. More about it in the thread #AI4CellFate (1/n)⬇️
🚨🚨 We are recruiting! If you are interested in developing ML tools (with a focus on interpretable ML & generative AI) for bioinformatics applications @scilifelab, look no more😋 1 PhD position https://t.co/KRohvQAcJM & 2 post doc positions (online soon, PM me in the meantime).
And to start 2025 strong… Our work #NanoPyx is out in @naturemethods 😍❤️ DOI: https://t.co/ZjsQmT0qcf
#NanoPyx is a Python framework that uses the #LiquidEngine to efficiently accelerate bioimage analysis for any user! (1/n) ⬇️
So fun to be presenting a selected flash talk at the #DDLS Data-Driven Life Science Annual Conference @scilifelab Thank you for the amazing discussions!! ♥️
Hope you all enjoy reading it much more than I enjoyed coding it. Many thanks to my reviewers and co-authors, but especially to @D_J_Nieves for supervising the project! (4/4)

Using our newly-developed topological quantification algorithms (PLASMA), we were able to detect and map nanoscale lipid domains in live cells. What’s more, our toolset provides a general framework for investigating marked point pattern data at nanometre spatial scales. (3/4)
😍⚠️And it’s out in @J_Cell_Sci!! Our review on the opportunities and challenges of using Machine Learning in Microscopy research 🤖🔬! From using ML to curate data to using ML to give us more KNOWLEDGE about our data (i.e. Interpretation 😉) DOI: https://t.co/HmYiaHgfgX (1/n) ⬇️
Ahhh this felt amazing!! 🤩 Super happy to have given a selected talk at this AWESOME conference #I2K2024 ♥️♥️ Thanks to everyone for the amazing discussions!! ☺️
Super grateful to have received this funding from @KAWstiftelsen 🙏and very excited to start this collaboration. I will be recruiting a PhD student and post docs (computational projects). PM if you are interested in joining the CMCB team @scilifelab
Soooo happy that @LucaPanconi (aka the mathematician 😎) is joining our team 🥹💕 (also let's not ignore that in this pic @GriffieJuliette and @sebjbauer were caught with 1kg of food in their mouths 🐿️ 😂)
Delighted to announce I’ll be joining @scilifelab as a RED Postdoctoral Fellow later this year! I’ll be developing computationally-optimised immunotherapies with the wonderful @GriffieJuliette, can’t wait!
Super happy to be sharing our tips on cluster analysis in this review https://t.co/qh1HRq5be1
Was so much fun to work on this with @LucaPanconi and @Owen_lab_UoB (aka the dinosaur)!! And my first last author publication😝
