@OneNationAus When the leaders of your political party are both too dumb and too old to give a shit about the impacts of their short-sighted policies....
@KatyKray73@PeterDutton_MP "Christianity is amongst the most persecuted religions globally."
Show me on this map of The Crusades where you think Christianity is getting a raw deal.
@LegalEagle what are your thoughts on H.R. 211 "Each day for the remainder of the first session of the 119th Congress shall not constitute a calendar day for purposes of section 202 of the National Emergencies Act"

@ronniecoutinho@EmmanuelMacron Just because The Orange One and his yapping puppy say that Zelenskyy has never thanked the US doesn't mean it's true.

@johnrush@wpengine WPEngine provides a service for paying customers, reliant on the WordPress Open Source CMS. WPEngine makes hundreds of thousands of dollars but barely contribute to the WordPress OS CMS, financially or through development. Mullenweg is applying pressure on WPEngine to do so.
@troyhunt@JustAnotherTL@haveibeenpwned Twitter is sliding towards collapse. The $1 subscription, whilst a token amount, is grease for that slide. Even $1 is more than what Twitter is worth to me as a user now.
@piersmorgan England beat Australia in a game of soccer? How will we ever get over that trauma and pain as we sit on our lovely sandy beaches, enjoying our sunny days as far away from England as you can possibly get?
@pdevisscher@joshuabrowder I have been using @airwallex. You can create virtual credit cards (with individual spending limits) so you'd create one for NYT. Want to cancel your subscription? Cancel that virtual card. Don't want to get caught by the annual fee being silently increased? Set the limit.
@IshwarBagga@joshuabrowder I think the winner will be whichever bot has the greater reinforcement weighting for succeeding. The Customer Service Bot will not be able to have "Retain Subscriber" as it's absolute goal as, if it did, it would simply refuse any cancellation request outright.
So the Twitter Blue Tick Playbook:
1. Have Blue Ticks (for famous people)
2. Take them away
3. Sell them back
4. Create Gold Ticks
5. Let people who buy them hide them
6. Give Blue Ticks away (to famous people)
With the reports that @StephenKing, @IJasonAlexander and surely other personalities have found the #BlueTick added to their account without payment, I think this is a marketing scheme by @Twitter. Give it to celebrities for free so the plebs will buy it. Marketing 101.
Unconventional thought of the day - If your government is looking for a way to slow the economy, don't raise the interest rates - raise the taxes. Why give the banks an excuse to make bigger profits for the privileged few? Put more money into the community's coffers instead!
@sirirrelevance@AusEmergencyLaw@theluckylance I don't know anything about the other parties in this disagreement, but I can absolutely vouch for Michael Eburn. This is not a "fake account", and Michael has been generous sharing his time with me to discuss the application of law in emergency services and incidents.
