@cezarybaginski@derShasta@ToxiKat27@Markushle@LibertyCourier I agree with this. Force is the last resort worse case scenario, but it's the only way to resolve disagreement if negotiation is absolutely refused.
Our focus is having to resort to this as little as possible through negotiation
@StefanMolyneux I'm worried about Bitcoin software changes. They should be determined by decentralized node runners, but right now a few mining pools can collude to push or ignore a software change, causing a fork. Then we get narrative games on which forked coin is the "real Bitcoin".
@derShasta@cezarybaginski Interesting. We have different definitions of property, and you believe "society" (a label for a group of people) can "say" something like it's one entity.
We likely won't agree, but all conflict is between individuals. Negotiation and self defence are good. Force is evil.
@derShasta@cezarybaginski That description sounds like you don't believe in property ownership. If anyone other than the owner takes the property without consent, that is theft. Just like how using someone's body without consent is rape. It doesn't matter other people agree, the owner chooses.
@derShasta@cezarybaginski Interesting that you think "the government" is a real thing that can own property. You know it all just people right? The harder we make it for PEOPLE to steal from us, the less it will happen. Doesn't matter if those people call themselves "the government" or not.
@WorthlessGoyim In whatever limited form we can, we have to oppose immigration at a personal level. Treat foreigners like diseased, untouchable, worthless eyesores. Make their lives in Canada as bad as possible. Same goes for anyone who supports immigration.
@BitcoinBombadil Yes. Giving agency to concepts or tools instead of people is bizarre. "AI" did this, "the government" did that, "this company" did this. It's all people, and if you don't know who, it means they've built a layer of obfuscation so they don't have to take responsibility.
@albertaradios "Elections". "Alberta". "Investigate". None of these concepts actually exist, but we keep begging them to correct themselves. LOOK INSIDE.
There is nothing but PEOPLE, WILL, and ACTION. If you CARE MORE than your enemies and ACT ACCORDINGLY, you will win.
@DanielTyrie We should be very suspicious of any "political" solution to the issue of immigration. Political promises hold no weight. It's up to us. We have to take action that only benefits Canadians. Give foreigners nothing. They are hostile to us. Reciprocate.
@AcceptableToad It's not really about "rights", it's about money. If men were not forced by the government to give money to women, hire women, etc. They would naturally have less money, agency, and power than men, even with all the same rights. We must remove men's forced obligations.
@AngetheBrave72 You have the indifferent, the vigilant, the propagandized, and the dependant. The propagandized and dependant both have very strong motivation to support government power. The vigilant are small in numbers, and can't get the indifferent to care and join them.
@StefanMolyneux@grok It was from you that I first learned about Bitcoin. Have you been keeping up with the attempted activation of BIP-110, its subsequent hard fork and change of POW algorithm to Blake2b? They are two separate coins now and I'm worried sha256 BTC has mining centralization issues.
@globeandmail Asking for permission to separate is not a strategy. Voting is not a strategy. A strategy is determining what independence looks like, and replicating those conditions as accurately as possible at a micro-scale. Begin with your friends and family.
@BitcoinMotorist I think most people don't understand that separation is how decentralized systems resolve irreconcilable differences. They are convinced of the politics mindset of "stay a slave and vote harder". Leaving before the collapse allows you time to build the successor.
Scenario: Foundry, Antpool, F2pool, Spiderpool all start running BTC with demurrage. Most BTC users don't want it and run a URSF, but the ETF issuers and exchanges side with the pools, and claim its the "real Bitcoin".
Does BTC (sha256) have anything preventing this scenario?
@zerokapital@StefanMolyneux Knowing the future IS the same as causing it if you also CREATE THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE
It would be like programming a video game and blaming the characters in it for making bad decisions
@GenericSnarky Yes, Property rights require labour to enforce. I will voluntarily spend money to make sure my property is safe. Me paying for private security doesn't require them to steal money from me, or anyone else. This is not hard to understand.
