@43e8d8@sweetcarolinatv@BarackObama@grok Colette landed here with a bowlful of hateful subjective opinions packaged in generalities. So, if we got you 10 videos of Obama exhorting people towards hard work, would you change your mind and statement?
@DavisThuranira Useless laws passed by people out of touch with reality. A graduate JSH teacher is paid 17k before any deductions. How is she going to pay a househelp 16k to watch over her baby? The same reality is mirrored in other areas of the public & private sectors.
@Cotli_ @C_NyaKundiH Very resilient animals! The thing that traumatized me the most was to see an Ethiopian ameumwa na little comrades!! Light skin makes it look like a scorpion bite. Year in, year out, students come and go. Little comrades aka kunguni are a constant.
@pallnandi Those guys lived more than 900 years. By the time Cain was, say 300 years, how many people do you think we're on earth, since Adam and Eve continues to have children?
@morarakebaso Fellow started very well, then ambition got into the way, and now he's on self destruct mode. A little more strategy and a bit of thick skin, and you would have probably gone very far. What a waste!!
@TheNairobiTimez She's exhibiting such arrogance because for long, our broken politics has made our leaders not dare touch them. That's why Kidero allowed bodas into the CBD and now no one dares try to evict them. We must decide whether we want Nairobi to be a modern capital city, or a slum.
@PeterNzimbi I've found it easy to deny that we are often tempted to avoid preaching about some things or from some texts, until an expository sermon forces you to wade into ponds you'd rather avoid. Yet it is by wading into those ponds that we experience the transforming power of God's word.
So, apparently the ringleader here is a police officer. Let the @NPSOfficial_KE know that Kenyans are watching. These guys belong to jail, starting with the ringleader, and for long. This is sickening. It cannot be tolerated. And people just stood by and watched!!
I have never understood this practice in Kenya of asking courts to stop one from being investigated and/or prosecuted. Asking to be protected from arrest, harassment or detention is understandable. But this?? What does it seek to accomplish, and does it happen anywhere else?
Thika Magistrate Stella Atambo moves to court seeking to block investigations or prosecution against her, she is being probed by EACC over alleged graft.
It's regrettable that Chebukati has died without publishing his account of events on & around 7/08/2022. Even if we'd not all agree with his version, it was worth telling. For a few days, he carried the nation on his back. I hope it's not what broke him. Rest well, man Chebu.
These people have destroyed our country. The 1st time I saw CS Machogu dish out teacher recruitment letters at a funeral, I was horrified but thought it was a one-off lapse. Now it's the norm. They're shamelessly shredding every last bit of sanity that remains in our nation.
Moses Nthurima: We have a problem with employment. Teachers are now being employed by politicians. The government is going for forms from TSC and sharing them with politicians to go and employ. Previously, teachers were being interviewed using a set template and the requirements set by the commission

@SamGituku
The lesson students and everyone else learn is that cheating, and other forms of corruption pay, and honesty, integrity and hard work do not. Everyday, every year, we gouge out chunks of the little that remains as the soul of our nation.
Unfortunately, corruption aided by impunity has become our ethos as a nation. We all know that the KCSE exam was characterised by massive, widespread cheating. Then KNEC takes ages to clean up and moderate the results, and now we have to pretend that what we see is all clean.
@ntvkenya The fellow Africans ranking us don't understand how game changing, absolutely transformational, this policy is. H.E. just needs to hold a town hall meeting to explain it to them, or unleash various state departments to issue press statements. They'll see sense and come round.
Sometimes I wonder whether a decision has been made to wind up the republic, and we weren't told. Kenya has survived over a decade of massive looting. How much more can it take? We are destroying this country. One day, we will crash.
We've gotten used to daily news of billions lost or unaccounted for. Did you know that if you earned 400,000 a month & saved all of it, it'd take you 2,083 years to reach 10b? Yaani, from the time Julius Caesar was Emperor of Rome, before the Son of God incarnate was conceived .
@OAmollo@danreess Have MPs been using CDF funds for such, or where's the relationship? These have been & will be there.
We all contribute to such, as & when we can. Please stop blackmailing Kenyans. With regards to fundraisers, do what you can and wish to. The courts are right, and you know it.
Because of the HUGE CREDIBILITY/TRUST DEFICIT President William Ruto's government suffers from, many viable projects that can be financed through a TRANSPARENT and VERIFIABLE PPP process will not see the light of the day. WHY? Because the people of Kenya simply don't trust their government to do the right thing with their monies and assets. President Ruto was sold the FALSE GOSPEL that he could build roads, dams, airports, schools, hospitals markets, etc, without building trust with the people by fixing what ails the country. He has elected/refused to undertake meaningful reforms that solidify institutions and ingrain good governance throughout the structures of the state ie...having a vibrant parliament, corruption free judiciary, independent police, anti-corruption strategies, asset recovery of goverment officials that steal from the state etc. In other words, H.E RUTO has put the cart before the horse. He wants to pursue an ambitious development agenda in a corrupt and dysfunctional government. Mr. President, that is NOT POSSIBLE! President Ruto needs to urgently reappraise his strategies because the trajectory he is currently on will fail him and fail Kenya BIG TIME. He must fix the governance problems that are killing Kenya before he builds roads, dams, schools, etc. For example, how can Kenya move forward when you have a corrupt judiciary where judgment is given to those who bribe? How can Kenya move forward when the Supreme Court, the Apex court, is corrupt through and through and some judges are buying/building properties all over Kenya? How can we move forward when parliament doesn't function and is a mere talking shop for the Leader of Majority? How can Kenya move forward when Governors, their deputies, are stealing all the monies allocated to counties and no action is taken? How can Kenya move forward when those in government offices ie Cabinet Secretaries, Principal Secretaries, heads of parastatals steal daily, grow filthy rich, and go scot-free, enjoying their loot in dubai and lately in Istanbul and Cape Town. Despite these crippling/debilitating ills, President Ruto wants to create 20,000 for the youth to clean the Nairobi River!!! 🤣🤣🤣...it does work like that, Mr. President! With three years left before the next election, the right time is now for President Ruto to address the elephant in the room and fix Kenya's GOVERNANCE problems and forget for the time being about the superficial and trivial issues of roads, dams, airports, sewage etc that is taking most of his time...Mr. President, development and bad governance/corruption can't co-exist in the same ecosystem!
