How someone treats the most vulnerable beings among us is the ultimate test of their character. There is absolutely no excuse for animal abuse. It takes a true monster to intentionally hurt a helpless, innocent creature. Animals feel pain, fear, and love just like we do—but unlike us, they cannot speak up or defend themselves when they are being mistreated. Compassion isn't just an option; it is a fundamental duty. If you see something, don't stay silent! Monsters live amongst us and they will pay if not in this life but the next.

Animal cruelty is wrong but "it is your tradition" does not make it right; "it is part of your religion" does not make it right; "it is your people's livelihood" does not make it right; "people are more important"; does not make it right either. YOU KNOW WHY; BECAUSE IT IS JUST WRONG.

NEW YORK SHOWED UP FOR WANG WANG TODAY 🌧️🐾
A storm hit New York this weekend.
We still marched through Chinatown today for Wang Wang, despite the weather, chanting:
“JUSTICE FOR WANG WANG.”
Wang Wang was thousands of miles away. None of us ever knew her. But what she suffered and what she inspired in us was enough to bring people into the streets of New York.
This was NYC’s third demonstration for Wang Wang.
And we won’t stop speaking up.
New York is only one city.
This movement has crossed borders. Wang Wang has not been forgotten. And the calls for real animal-protection laws are only getting louder.
P.S., NYC activists and organizers - you are all inspiring and amazing AF!

Justice Has No Boundaries
In a world where we are witnessing horrific acts of violence, suffering, and injustice every day, it can sometimes feel overwhelming to speak up about one more tragedy.
But compassion is not limited.
We can care about people suffering from war, violence, hunger, and persecution and stand up for animals who are abused, tortured, and killed.
Standing up for animal rights is not saying that animals matter more than people. It is saying that cruelty should never be accepted as normal—no matter who or what the victim is.
When we remain silent in the face of cruelty, we allow it to continue. When we speak up, we remind the world that suffering matters, that compassion matters, and that justice matters.
Justice for Wang Wang and her puppies. Justice for every innocent animal subjected to cruelty. And justice and compassion for innocent victims everywhere.
We may not be able to stop every horrific event in the world, but we can refuse to become numb to suffering.
Speak up. Stand together. Demand accountability. Compassion has no borders.

President Xi noted in his toast remarks that this visit has added new substance to the constructive China-U.S. relationship of strategic stability, and provided new strategic guidance for China-U.S. relations.
The two sides must act as responsible major countries, meet the expectations of the two peoples, keep pace with the trend of the times, explore a new approach for major countries to get along with each other, and write a new chapter in their friendly relations.

Reminder about the peaceful demonstration in NYC this Sunday 9/27!
I went to my first demonstration ever in August, the day after first learning about Wang Wang. I felt like I had to do something.
It was super uncomfortable at first - I’m a very private person, and chanting in Times Square was extremely uncomfortable (to say the least!).
But I thought about how trivial my discomfort and problems were compared to what happened to Wang Wang.
And I was so energized by the amazing passion and compassion of our community.
Wang Wang, I - and many other amazing people - will be speaking up for you all the way in New York City…a world away from the little place you called home. You’ve touched people around the world.
And we’ll keep speaking up. As long as it takes.

#WangWang and her three babies deserved a life filled with love, safety, warmth, and gentle hands. Though their time with us was cut short by unimaginable cruelty, their story has awakened something powerful in thousands of hearts around the world. #Dogs#JusticeForWangWang
87 days. Still no law. Still no justice.
Wang Wang stayed with her puppies while they were beaten with spiked poles. Then they burned her alive and laughed that it “smelled so good.” Five boys under 14. No criminal charges. China has zero national law against cruelty to dogs and cats.
Cow Cat was stolen, tortured for days, and killed with a blender. The perpetrator walked after a slap on the wrist.
This is not isolated. Adults and children film torture for views, money, and Telegram groups because there is no real penalty.
Boycott China tourism. Write the embassy. Demand a national animal cruelty law with teeth.
