@K_AminThaabet Yeah, but he´s got quiet a Gotham vibe. As well as a lot of the Trumpist figures. I think we are sentenced to live in pretty interesting times.
@euromaximal Velina has been producing vague, weird and contradictory slop for a long time. Classic asset/agent behaviour. I hope that she´s being monitored.
@SeznamZpravy Samozřejmě, že věříte tomu, že Izrael střílí kojence do hlavy přímo během kojení. Protože taky věříte tomu, že krev těch kojenců Židovky použily k pečení macesů. Je mi z Vás na blití.
@MaxAbrahms He's been trying to save Russia and do business with Putin since the day he got back. You are obsessed with issues that only involve YOUR OWN sensibilities and don't give a crap about anything and anyone else. There are words for this behaviour.
@AGHamilton29 Oh, I did take note. I remember everyone who used to spread anti-Ukraine and anti-NATO bullshit. I´m pretty bitter about it. Some of these people are very surprised that the same op is now unleashed against Israel.
@Jechiel14@RachelMoiselle I can also imagine that there are law firms which wouldn´t allow you to wear odd socks due to very strict dress-code. Societal customs are tough negotiation.
@Jechiel14@RachelMoiselle I´m just trying to explain that even non-religious people have their "weird sensibilities". I don´t really appreciate accusations of antisemitism but I´m still pretty chill.
@Jechiel14@RachelMoiselle I hate hugging with anyone outside family by the way. I´m a grumpy introverted Slav. But if someone spreads their arms, I politely suffer through it. I can refuse and cause an awkward situation but it´s not worth it for me.
@Jechiel14@RachelMoiselle You can choose not to do something but you always have to weigh the possibility that people will judge you on it. Refusing a handshake has serious meaning in the Western society. If I visit different cultures, I conform to their rules no matter how much I don´t like them.
@Jechiel14@RachelMoiselle Another thing is that it is not "a tiny minority" in many countries. This thread started with an example of orthodox judaism, which is indeed tiny, but there is also certain other religion that is not tiny at all.
@Jechiel14@RachelMoiselle They don't need to shake hands within their communities or countries. But the secular society has the right to reasonably enforce its own customs. What bothers me is that only religious people are allowed to have weird sensibilities, but I am told to take a chill pill.
@RachelMoiselle@Jechiel14 To put it even more simply. If I were to refuse shaking hands with someone, it would only mean to show absolute contempt. It sends a message. That is why it stirs so much emotion and I find it shocking that some people don´t understand it.
@RachelMoiselle@Jechiel14 I don´t know about you, but I was brought up to believe that we should shake hands even with enemies. That is why it is so deeply offensive to be refused handshake. You basically say that everyone except Western normies has a right to demand special treatment.
