So proud of the first cohort of our Master's in International Higher Education Management at @UniofBath. I'm just basking in their joy and sense of achievement. Bath Abbey isn't looking too shabby either. @bathabbey#graduation#Students
Our piece reflects on the recent effects of #Brexit on UK higher education & research, including the decline in EU student enrolments, the loss of Erasmus & the shortcomings of Turing, & the adverse impact of ongoing uncertainty regarding the UK's association to Horizon Europe.
Must read new @cssjournal1 paper by @LudoHighman, Simon Marginson & @vpapat: Higher education and research: multiple negative effects and new no opportunities after Brexit. https://t.co/iy97iGEzuu

Excited to have been nominated Research Centre Associate of the Department of Education, University of Oxford and returning to @ResearchCGHE. Interesting times ahead – watch this space!😉@OxfordDeptofEd@UniofOxford
@annecorb I'm worried that this new "global" alternative will end up meaning just North America, Australia and New Zealand. And maybe throw in Singapore for good measure.
Sad to see🇬🇧leave @EUErasmusPlus🇪🇺on top of decision to charge EU students overseas fees. Since 2017 @ResearchCGHE warned sector of these potential casualties. Any scheme that couldn't demonstrate a net return dropped. Poor outcome for years of lobbying @UniversitiesUK @beisgovuk
I am delighted to announce that I have been appointed Senior Lecturer in Higher Education Management at the University of Bath. Thanks to all those who helped me on this long journey, my PhD and postdoc mentors and advisors, and former colleagues at @ResearchCGHE@SchoolofEdTCD
