Ran a poll in last week’s email.
The results gave me something rare online - validation.
It’s not final, but it’s enough to keep building.
Whether it turns into a paid product or not… we’ll see when the full version is ready.
I’ve always loved travel - but instead of becoming an influencer, I’m building a digital brand from scratch.
Step 1: Launch a travel newsletter.
Step 2: Turn guides into ebooks.
Step 3: Make it profitable.
Documenting the whole journey here 🌍
@kevinasrx@niconley Recently thought of a similar concept to this and discussed it with one of my friends, he came across this tweet and sent it to me.
How do you go about getting the leads to the subs and generating revenue for yourself or is this on a bases of selling the service first?
Just landed a sponsor for my local newsletter — a real estate agent. We’re doing a commission-based deal for any property sold through leads from the newsletter.
Is this a smart play, or would a fixed ad package be the better move?
Update: 1 week later - 2nd newsletter sent today!
Stopped running ads for 4 days, continued the ads yesterday and today. I'll continue running the ads for the rest of the month.
Subs: 2913
CPS: $0.075 (Increased - and noticed running it over the weekends this tends to drop.)
Facebook followers: 500
Instagram followers: 134
It's time to start blasting out organic content on social media to reach my local area to get noticed and get organic subscribers coming in.
I've added in my referral program this week, but I need to create a free PDF guide very soon to incentivise subs to refer friends and family.
People only root for others at two times:
First, when they’re at the beginning of the race.
Second, when they finish.
Neither is when you need it.
So, you have to master the middle.
The boring, exhausting, soul-crushing middle.
That’s where the winning happens.
On your own.
