@MandsBTS14 Britain banned the slave trade in 1807 one of the first countries to do so. The Royal Navy was capturing slave ships to set them free, suppressing the slave trade World Wide.
@javierota@bee_fumo Britains sovereignty began in 1765, when Captain John Byron claimed the islands for King George III. The settlement at Port Egmont was established in 1766. This predates The United Provinces independence from Spain by 50 years.
@javierota@bee_fumo United Provinces controlled 30% of “Argentina” in 1833. Argentina is the colonial imperialists. Not the Falklanders who have lived on the islands longer than Argentina has existed as a country.
@javierota@bee_fumo Yes United Provinces flag. A colony established by the British in 1771-1774 which was governed by Spain between 1774-1811. German Vernet governed it until 1833 until Britain returned to once again govern the colony. Argentina didn’t arrive until 1982.
@javierota@bee_fumo The Argentine flag didn’t exist in 1833, it was the United Provinces. German opportunist Vernet controlled the island between 1828-1833 when the British returned to remove the United Provinces military. The civilians remained and their ancestors live on the islands today.
@timmmccloskey@bee_fumo The only “Argentines” to ever live there are the ones buried 6 feet under after a failed annexation in 1982. It never was and never will be Argentine.
@GOPIsrael Britain should reclaim British Mandated Palestine from the Zionists and return it to the Arab indigenous population. Britain has more sovereign rights to Palestine than Argentina has to Falklands. May HaShem make this happen.
@_TomClarke Tuchel described the performance as “Pure mentality, you can bottle this and sell it” “Bellingham was world Class” “players were very good”
Clarke to Bellingham: “the manager says he was disappointed with that performance” - he never said that.
@SteveMadeley78 He didn’t ask Jude about what Tuchel said.
He cherry picked the only part of Tuchels comments that could be considered criticism and re framed it as Tuchel being damming of the whole performance.
Gutter journalism.
@_ChrisLepkowski Gabriel was like a loose cannon, completely misunderstood Tuchel so lied to Bellingham with his misunderstanding. Terrible journalism.
@IanDarke@HLTCO His incorrect question to Bellingham was his emotional retribution for being corrected by Tuchel for the earlier incorrect question. Poor journalism.
