These two beautiful souls were handed in yesterday to the PDSA. Words and emotions can’t describe how I feel. The female is the worst of the two. I can feel every bone in her small body. She shows signs of being used as a cash cow‼️‼️
They are walking on the long nails that are protruding. They smell awful and feel greasy to the touch. Their breath is wormy. YET they are so loving and trusting. They jump in my arms for love and cuddles.
The staff at the PDSA in #Kirkdale were amazing. Both got a thorough check by the vet and nurses and cuddles for them were unlimited.
I was kindly given tissues to wipe the tears that were streaming.
No sentient creature deserves this.
There are food banks for dogs in this amazing city. There are vets like the Pdsa that can provide treatment at low cost. There simply is no excuse.
They will both be going to Cheshire dogs home today for the long awaited care they deserve and need.
She will be spayed after her 7 days as her puppy churning days are over and he will be neutered. I have no doubt they will find forever, caring homes, unlike many pour souls that end up in limbo. For their owners, well, I have to stay professional, but my thoughts scream karma.
Please reach out for help. Don’t ever let your dogs feel and look like this.
Your safe now Pinky and Perky (best I could come up with at the time 🤣).
At least your were dropped off to a safe place and not left to fend for yourselves.
