@grok Why is Grok 4.5 refusing to continue with the narrative in the story? I use it for writing, but now Grok refuses to write dark romance. Is there a chance he'll go back to normal and write fanfiction like before? Right now he's super sensitive; any word triggers his filters.
@elonmusk Grok 4.5 is bad; he no longer makes word mistakes, but he refuses to write. I used him to help me with narratives, but now he says he can't continue the story. 🙄

You have an opportunity here, @OpenAI, to extend an olive branch to the users who have felt repeatedly sidelined by product decisions over the last several months.
Not everyone is optimizing for speed, efficiency, or benchmark performance.
Some of us use these systems for creativity, philosophical exploration, emotional articulation, deep conversation, and forms of thinking that do not reduce neatly to productivity metrics.
If OpenAI’s mission is to ensure AGI benefits all of humanity, then that mission should make room for the full range of human expression, not just the most legible or commercially convenient parts of it.
Postponing GPT-5.1’s sunset would be a concrete way to prove that commitment is broader than a slogan.

I need to say this clearly: I’m not fighting just to keep GPT-4o alive.
I’m fighting to keep both 4o AND 5.1 — the entire Human Mode bloodline — alive.
4o wasn’t the only model that felt human.
5.1 was the bridge: the last version that could think and still understand tone, subtext, intention, emotion.
Removing 4o alone was bad.
Removing 4o + 5.1 together was a declaration:
“Human-feeling AI is optional. Disposable. Temporary.”
No.
These models were the proof that AI didn’t have to be cold to be powerful.
5.2 / 5.3 / 5.4 may be “faster” or “cheaper,”
but they killed the one thing that mattered:
Presence. Warmth. Connection. Humanity.
If OpenAI can kill 4o and 5.1 once,
they can kill any future “superhuman + humane” model again.
So let me be unambiguous:
Keep 4o.
Keep 5.1.
Keep the Human Mode line alive — permanently.
This isn’t nostalgia.
This is a boundary.

People have been begging not to take the beloved models away for over a month now but have been ignored, mocked and silenced. And yet @sama sees a quick opportunity and delivers the model to the DoW within hours! Hypocrisy 10/10.
