@KenDBerryMD The lifestyle that saved my life was Ketogenic initially, then Carnivore when I found out about it. I lost 55 lbs the first 4 months, then lost 200+ over the course of 5 years by eating a meat-based, extreme high-fat diet, and my brain healed with all that yummy cholesterol.
@KenDBerryMD And in case some snotty vegan comes along, yes, I was taking all the supplements and following a strict 1200 calorie diet and I was using all those detoxes and essential oils and blah blah blah. Meat and organs have all required nutrients. Plants have the "toxins" so spoken of.
@sidkhullar@KenDBerryMD India, unfortunately, has the worst health statistics and most birth defects in the world. They don't show this but when I was in school for nutrition, I had to do a paper and found all of that information. It's very sad.
@katycoolmoon@eboncat@autisticats An example of this discrimination is wheelchairs. To help wheelchair-bound people, they put in ramps and things at a lower level, closer to their hands. They can implement things to accomodate autism, they just don't want to because it's not visible.
@katycoolmoon@eboncat@autisticats Jobs need to learn to work with autism instead of the world wishing autistics would just be this non-existant thing people call "normal". Bosses want mindless drones, anyway, these days. I happened to find that my autism makes being a nutrition specialist and author easier.
@dbongino If you would please contact me ASAP, I have need of a word with you, sir. I would like to speak with you privately if you have the time and will listen.
@iMultitudes@ItIsWh4tIt1s@kavena86@autisticats I already told you I worked with real severe autistics for years as a representative of autism. This is what bullies do. I never once saw my kids act this way, ever. Even the severe flappy ones (I flap, sometimes) didn't move like this or make exaggerated faces.
I’m watching Sia’s movie, in order to write a detailed & chronological review (so that nobody else watches it out of curiosity).
But for now, I just want the public to see a few things that speak for themselves, starting with this image:
@iMultitudes@ItIsWh4tIt1s@kavena86@autisticats There is faux stim dance, then there's this. This is intentional twitching and exaggeration which feels mocking, not "faux stim dance". It's the entirety of the film that is under scrutiny, not just the dances. The character is always exaggerated in a way that is completely false
@iMultitudes@ItIsWh4tIt1s@kavena86@autisticats But that does not excuse this overexaggerated, robotic, and unrealistic misrepresentation. You are just harming the community to claim to be a part of by brushing the reality of its horrifyingly incorrectness aside.
@iMultitudes@ItIsWh4tIt1s@kavena86@autisticats For "being autistic", all your comments and defense of this horrid video are completely insincere. I don't know what you are playing at, but this is no way looks like any autistic. It looks like how bullies treated me. That is just a statement of fact. Was she bullying? No.
@katycoolmoon @pyrrhl @autisticats Because what the actress is doing....is what I had to deal with as a child, and it was done by bullies who were mocking me. It's incincere and discriminatory. I stim and tick and flap and rock, and have no control over it. But it does not look like this monstrosity of a film.
@kikimakesart@autisticats I'm autistic with severe visual sensitivities. I detect light in vivid accuracy and the brightness is intensified. Just the images, alone, causes severe reactions. So, I can assure you this is a nightmare for autistics with the visual hypersensitivity.
@iMultitudes@ItIsWh4tIt1s@kavena86@autisticats Maybe she should have cast someone who has severe autism. This is not severe autism, it's mocking. All your statements are complete ignorance. I am autistic and spent years working with severe autistics and none of them did this. Bullies did this behavior to mock us.
