I’ll tell you why it’s declining:

1. Teams shooting 30+ threes per game
2. 20-30 point blowouts are the normal
3. Absolutely zero defensive effort
4. Teams regularly blow 20 point leads because no one cares, and again, no defense
5. Fully guaranteed contracts means you can collect your $20 mil per year and not give a F = no consequences
