If the Democrats bail out Mike Johnson on this spending bill, they deserve the utter political destruction coming their way.
Some are already falling for the "but we'll get blamed for shutting down the government" b.s.
Have you learned NOTHING?
Not. One. Vote.
@RepEliCrane How many of your constituents are on Medicare, Medicaid, SNAP and Social Security? I think it's a lot. Every White Mountain FB group is full of people having hard times, needing help. If you vote to cut these programs, to help billionaires, people will not forget.
@RepNancyMace Why do something productive and helpful when instead you can waste time and taxpayer dollars doing this nonsense. Strange, in 51 years I've never had a single who uses what bathroom issue, but man healthcare has some SERIOUS challenges. But go off I guess.
@TakeWeightOffMD @spinnerscircle @ashishkjha So my husband's leukemia medication is $25,000 a month. How do you manage that if your insurance is like "hard pass"? I mean you die if you don't take it, so there is that. I'm looking for advice on how one would manage. Excited for insightful some tips!
@Rabbie54868057@BraddrofliT@Logically_JC It would end my husband's life. His meds are $20,000 a month, and he will be on them as long as he lives. And without them, he doesn't. Don't know many people who can just cash pay $250k a year, forever. And my own family voted for it.
@BraddrofliT@scottburgeOR@Logically_JC People have a very short memory. It was not even 20 years ago this was regular practice. Along with annual and lifetime caps on coverage, and once your child was 18, off the insurance they go. Everyone just thinks "marketplace" and it's SO much more.
@BraddrofliT@Logically_JC This! My husband has leukemia, and his meds are $20,000 a month, and he will be on them forever. If they had the choice, nobody would ever insure him. And he would die. The amount of people who voted strongly against their own best interests is staggering. Many in my family did.
Objectively the best economy in the world.
Best stock market in history.
Strongest NATO alliance in history.
And we just voted to give the guy who broke it all last time two more Supreme Court justices.
Unfuckingbelievable.
@semidegen@FPWellman It sounds so dramatic but it's literally life or death for us. Zero chance of paying that out of pocket - for the rest of your life.
@semidegen@FPWellman Exactly. The ACA protections keep my husband alive. His meds are $250,000 a year. For the rest of his life. Stop taking them and death is on it's way. Oh and all your college kids, yeah, they're kicked off your insurance as well. Cheers!
@FPWellman Oh let's not leave out all of your health conditions no longer being covered as ACA protections are rolled back, and the smallpox party coming to town with RFK. Good times!
@LegallyLove Thanks to all the people who voted to protect women's rights, then voted for the who took them away, and will soon take them away for good, as well as take away the right to contraception. AZ, fantastic job at shooting yourself, and the rest of us in the foot. Way to go! 🤬
When you bitches are paying $18 for eggs and being paid pennies working in the fields because there’s no one else to do it, and your kids work factory jobs because there is no school to attend and shit like leprosy comes back, I hope you’ll remember how hard you owned the Libs.
@HeatherR411 Imagine not realizing he was the one who made the deal that made the prices go up in the first place. I underestimated how stupid this country is.
@abc15 Ah to vote to protect women's rights, then also vote for the man who took them away, and will move to do so nationally. No wonder he loves the uneducated.
