Chapter 8 tends to focus on the negative aspects of screen time,but I feel like if managed properly it can be a positive aspect in a child's life. I loved playing video games with my dad growing up. Alot of them were educational as well. #UMBCSOWK388

I thought it was interesting to learn that as babies we are not born with our language skills,but that its just simply developed at a young age. Which would make sense if both parents spoke English,but then one spoke Chinese and the other spoke Spanish. #UMBCSOWK388

I found this interesting because abortions are at a low at the moment due to contraceptives.I know the government has talked about restricting contraceptives again making those numbers possibly sky rocket eventually like back in 1973.

I have found a reading on Humanistic and Existential Perspectives the most interesting because certain things are not addressed going through development with these perspectives it can delay development and affect longevity of life.

The content on the different approaches has expanded my understanding of them more along with the Eco map. I feel like the Eco Map is a really good tool to have and understand going into Social Work. Anyones life can be analyzed by using it.
