What I am remembering from that Time issue (from decades ago), is that the cover picture was much more negative toward eating bacon and eggs than than actual article. Not optimistic that consumers who saw that Time cover actually read the article.
I am not surprised that the consumers are confused. So many conflicting studies and related news reports. But for now, eggs are ok... (here is what was reported decades ago vs recently).
