@c_r_y__o_u_t Agreed and this abuse also leads to death of children. Some of these cases involve children under the Children Act 1989 which allows for contact between a child and the abuser.

@fatherscontact my daughter told police, ss and cafcass on numerous occasions of physical + emotional abuse. nobody listened and the abuser took her. i have now been alienated from her. she stays quiet now, living with abuse, keeping her head down.
and still nobody cares

@CoCoAwareness Agreed. Victims need the full support of the law and the State when overcoming domestic violence and coercive control. The Children Act 1989 is a loophole for the perpetrator to access our children and perpetuate further violence and abuse toward our children.

Agreed, unfortunately, the Children Act 1989 discriminates against women as it treats both parents the same but as a mother, our relationship and bond is different with our children.
